“Peaceful”

What an amazing place to stay. Everything from the "HUGE" living room room and "HUGE" fireplace, the most Romantic Bedroom you will ever have the pleasure of staying in. The well appointed kitchen was absolutely fabulous for preparing dinner.

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.....

See you next year!

OasisSeekers777 -

Thank you very much for your comments. We wish you could have stayed longer too. Our 900 square foot, one-bedroom units definately feel HUGE compared to a standard hotel room. We'll stock up on firewood for your next visit.

Thank you again,
Chris

“Adorable little hotel, not quite in Sedona.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

It resides along the windy road into town, but it is a beautiful and quiet little windy road. Our family absolutely loved staying here for two nights. We had a 2 bedroom upstairs and downstairs with back patio and jacuzzi. The views were gorgeous on the patio. The place was very spacious and had a nice little kitchen, we made dinner both nights since it was so comfortable. It felt like a little home away from home after being in Williams and Grand Canyon for 5 previous days.

Sep 2011 - A bonus is that maybe a mile down the road, there is a small bridge. You can park on the far side of the bridge or park a 1/2 mile before and hike to it. When you get there, you can take a short walk off the road into a small property where there is a little stream. You can climb on down and enjoy nature made rapids almost like water park slides. We had a blast sliding around this one section all day. There had to be 30-40 people relaxing in the off season, and it was like water sliding in front of a sports audience. Everyone was having fun and laughing and engaging. Just a wonderful little surprise for any family. It is almost a must visit hidden gem in Sedona!

We highly recommend staying at Juniper for any family. Excellent and affordable value.

It sounds like you are referencing Slide Rock State Park, which is one mile south of us. You sure picked a great time of year to enjoy the natural waterslides. Just a mile and half nort of us is picturesque West Fork - one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the state.

Thanks so much for staying with us, and we hope to see you again very soon.

“Beautiful setting, helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

You'd be crazy to stay in town when you can stay here, just about 8 miles up beautiful Oakcreek Canyon. Our "room" had all the needed cooking equipment. Firewood was supplied each day. The living area was comfortable and the bathroom was huge. The affiliated restaurant provided good food, prompt service and the prices were fair. If only they heated the plates I'd call it great.
Resort staff was eager to help when it turned out the ice maker in the refrigerator didn't work very well..

Room Tip: Pick a room so where you can see the mountain across the creek. the morning view is amazing.

We agree with your assessment of our location. Far enough from the busy shopping areas in Sedona, but not too far to get there when you want to go. Junipine is situated in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon so stream fishing and hiking are right out your front door. Step out your back door and you're a few steps from a game of cards with a cool drink on your private deck overlooking the creek and the west canyon walls.

Thank you so much for your review, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

“So glad we stayed here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

We had a very lovely condo to spend the night. My only complaint was that the pull out bed in the couch which we needed for our very small children was filthy, and so bare in cushion that it was unbearably uncomfortable, even for a pull out bed. Apparently they did not know we needed to use it or, they said, they would have had it freshly made up. Still, it was really really gross. The grounds were very nice and it was a wonderful place to walk around and enjoy the outdoors in Sedona away from the tourist attractions. The condo had a fireplace and a skylight which were both very enjoyable. Breakfast was also very good, though limited. Overall, I am sure we picked the best place for our family to stay this January in Sedona.

We are so glad you stayed here too. I was grateful to hear that you enjoyed the accommodations, the fireplace, and our Cafe next door. I addressed your comment regarding the sofabed, as our expectation for our staff is that the sofabeds are ready to use at anytime.

Come back soon,

“Great getaway in Sedona!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

My husband and I went to visit the Grand Canyon and then drove down to Sedona. This was a 50th birthday trip for him and he loves to trout fish. I picked the Junipine Resort because it had a trout stream and looked to have accommodations that had king beds, fireplaces and hottubs on some of the decks. We arrived at the Junipine and they did not have my reservation, even tho it had been booked with them and I had a receipt with a booking number. Nevertheless, they gave us #7 overlooking the trout stream with a hottub and two fireplaces, one in the bedroom! What a beautiful condo. It had two bedrooms but we only used the one on the main floor that had a king bed. The upstairs bedroom had two queen beds in it. After being in Sedona for only a short time, the rains began and the trout stream became a roaring river. Oh well, no more trout fishing! The rain messed up our Red Jeep Tour but we went to see the Montezumas castle and to the Hotel in Jerome for a drink at the bar! Our condo was absolutely beautiful, well appointed and had a sleep number bed. The price is not cheap for the Junipine but they bring you daily firewood and towels if you ask. The Junipine is in Oak Creek Canyon need Slide Rock State Park. Overall, a excellent trip even if it did rain! We used the jacuzzi in the rain and just enjoyed relaxing! We will come again!

Room Tip: Ask for a stream or creek view.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. At check-in, I'm glad Rose was able to make you feel welcome and comfortable in spite of the reservation glitch. #7 is a beautiful creekhouse, and it sounds like it was an excellent fit for you and your husband.

Thank you for staying with us. I loved hearing about the highlights of your weekend. The trout will be here for your next visit ;)
