We spent a long weekend at the Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort overlooking the golf course. We had a one bedroom unit for two of us with a large jacuzzi tub which was nice. The units were comfortable for two with many of the amenities of home. The units could use a bit of updating including the sleeper sofa and rugs but overall it was a nice weekend away.

Unit was very clean and the kitchen amenities spot on. Close to iga webers grocery store to stock up on provisions. Pool and jacuzzi were relaxing and well heated. Bedding and towels were good quality. Sound proofing could be better. Views spectacular from pools and some units. But take a short walk and you will see Bell Rock and other beautiful vistas

Arrived with some Friends and stayed in a two bedroom condo. The front desk was great...check in was pleasant......then we went across the room to the Concierge desk....not so friendly on that side of the room. Sunday check in with the conceirge desk was an older women that told us that someone would be with us as she was waiting for someone to come back to finish helping....(maybe she should of helped us....then when he returned...have him wait). Anyway, when another lady helped us we asked about things to do and places to eat....when we told her we were not interested as guests in listening to a timeshare her attitude changed. She didnt seem to have time for us....So later in the week we tried again to approach the concierge desk. Again she was working and she basically handed us a brochure to read....not much personality here. We then went to the check in counter on another day and asked some questions about what to do and places to eat. The reservation counter was very helpful, the young man took his time and seemed enthused to help us ....not like the concierge counter. They only want to book time shares so it seems.
Our room was nice although the stairway needed repair as pieces of concrete were missing on the steps and it was a journey everytime I went up the steps since I recently had hip surgery and found it difficult to climb steps. (There was a sign saying the steps would be repaired soon.) The resort is not very handicap accessable and there were times we came to our room and maintenance had our only handicap parking spot taken. Also swimming pools were up a great deal of steps on the side of a hill and the other alternative would be to drive up to it as it is centered around the golf course. The accomodations in the room were good, rooms clean, and nice big bathrooms that have been remodeled.

The Ridge on Sedona is actually in Oak Creek, which is about 5 miles south of Sedona proper. The resort is set on a beautiful golf course with views of the spectacular red rock formations. The location is convenient, easy to get to, and quiet.
We have 2 children, b(9) and g(7) and this time went with a studio because it was all that was available for the Veteran's Day holiday week. Though we reserved a week, we only needed 4 days. The studio was spacious enough for our needs (about 500sf) and the short trip, but I would recommend a larger unit for a longer stay. The unit has a kitchenette with 2 burner stove (no oven), microwave, toaster, blender and apartment-sized fridge. All the appliances and cooking implements were of good quality and new. The queen bed was extremely comfortable - the wife wanted to take it home - with plenty of pillows. There were enough towels for the shower and pool. The pull-out couch (double bed) was memory foam, and quite honestly the nicest one that we had ever used; the children were more than comfortable. The unit did only have a shower, though it was large, and a single sink. The balcony could accommodate 2.
The resort had several pools, opened year-round, and a great hot tub with views of the mountains. The concierge and check-in desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and did not push too much for a timeshare presentation. Parking was a little sparse, but adequate.
Overall a truly great experience, would give it 4.5 stars if I could.
