This is a very special experience and you need two or more days to enjoy your cabin and everything in Sedona. You won't miss the t.v. cause they have a fireplace and boardgames and a balcony to enjoy. It's fun to read the journal/diary entries of past guests. You can bring your own groceries or eat in town a few miles away. The scenery is great and the landscaping invites lots of birds to the property. Breakfast is yummy and the brownies left for us at arrival were super! There is more than one way into Sedona from the freeway and some roads are easier to travel than others. You're only a two-plus hour drive from the Grand Canyon, also.

My husband took me to Canyon Wren for my 30th birthday. Hands down, one of the best places we've ever stayed. The area of Sedona is absolutely awe-inspiring, and this was such a sweet little place to use as our home-base. The furnishings are quaint, and the cabins are nice and cozy. We loved making fires each night, and enjoying the whirpool tub. I miss Canyon Wren!

What a wonderful way to experience Sedona! The owners were the lovliest, most helpful people to help us enjoy our first trip to this incredible place! Our cabin was incredibly clean, wonderfully decorated and had everything you could possibly need! The jacuzi tub was to die for after hiking all day! We cooked out on the grill both nights and Mike (the owner) gave us all the condiments and spices we would need so we didn't have to buy them at the store! How nice was that! Then their continental breakfasts!!!!!!!! The muffins were the best we had ever had and they were so generous to even give us some for the road! We will be back and we sincerely recommend this beautiful place. We loved that it was a few miles away from town. You could hear the creek bubbling as you slept! You have to go!

We stayed for 6 days at this little B & B north of Sedona. The cabins are designed for two, with a small but very functional kitchen area and a working fireplace which provided lovely atmosphere after a days hiking in the Red Rocks area. The loft queen bed was comfy and wake up time got later and later each day as the sleeps got longer and longer.

Hummingbirds entertain out the kitchen window, and in the small garden, birds of all varieties take advantage of the numerous feeders. The resident dogs are equally entertaining to watch.

Mike and Melina, the owners of Canyon Wren, are comfortably easy folks to be with. Their welcome left us feeling like we were coming home, having never visited there before. Melina's suggestions regarding where to eat or hike were perfect on every occasion, and Mike's baking is unparallelled. Delicious muffins and fruit for breakfast on the deck, and a treat of the tastiest brownies left in the cabin each day, meant that the hours hiking did not result in any weight loss!

We'd go back and highly recommend this spot to other travellers.
