Boots and Saddles is an experience and not just accomodations. Sam and Irith, the proprietors, become family and friends to you upon arrival. When you check in, they will give a 10 minute tour of the B&B main room where breakfast is served at 8:30 in the morning, fresh baked cookies available at all times, and snack hours between 4:00 and 6:00 in the late afternoon. Then they will give a 5 minute tour of your room where every item you can imagine is available (soap, bath salts, shampoo, toothpaste, hair dryer, etc). It really is a "home away from home except you don't have to clean," Irith says.

The gourmet breakfast is prepared fresh daily by Sam and Irith. No two breakfasts are ever the same and there is more than enough food for everyone. With all guests from the four rooms they have, Sam will discuss what to do in the Sedona area for that particular day. Be prepared, Sam will ask each individual what he/she has planned for the day. No matter how well you know Sedona, take Sam's word as what to do. Sam knows best.

Sam and Irith assisted me with arranging in room massages and dinner reservations with extremely reasonable rates before I arrived. I was unable to have my desired room the first night but had it the second night. Sam and Irith directed me to have my bags packed and that they would arrange them in my new room the second night. They even hung up my clothes for me in the closet.

Sam and Irith did a fantastic job "hosting the B&B gathering." I felt as if I had made new friends with all the guests of the Boots and Saddles. Everyone raved about how incredible the rooms, the personal care, and the simple good feeling of staying at the Boots and Saddles were.

As we all become one happy family, the B&B offers much personal space and alone time. The rooms are layed out with great space and privacy. Walks to trailheads are nearby and mountain bikes are available at the B&B at no cost.

The rooms have a beautiful Western decor. I had the opportunity to stay in two of the four rooms and each was unique and gave the feeling of "welcome home." Also in the rooms were a few thank you letters and pictures of very pleased guests.

As long as rooms are available at the Boots and Saddles, I know where I will be staying when I come back to Sedona. Thank you, Sam and Irith, for an incredible experience.

We spent a week as guest at Boots and Saddles in July of 2005. At first the name of this place made us take pause, but after reading the reviews on this site and talking with the wonderful couple that run this B&B, we were sure we had a hit. It was wonderful, start to finish. They had the best recommendations and suggestions for activities during our stay. They really wanted us to have a GREAT time seeing Sedona. From the best places to eat, shop and hike to how to make the most of a day trip up to the Grand Canyon. We stayed in the Gentleman Cowboy room and had lots of room and woke each sunny day to a grand view of Thunder Mountain (across our large hot tub for two). Our breakfast meals were so tasty. And visually, they were oh so appealing. This place is CLEAN, wonderfully decorated and coordinated. The room was full of western appointments and private. It's easy to get to downtown for shopping and just as close to the mountains for hiking. Take the Jeep tour they recommend. Do everything they suggest and more, you won't be disappointed. This wonderful couple takes the time to get to know you and will taylor their advice to ensure you have fun. What else can I say? Nothing is wrong with this place!! The AC worked great (it was in the 110 degree range a few days). There were dozens of touches you wouldn't expect. Worth every dime!! I highly recommend this B&B. Stay the week. Sedona and the surrounding area have enough to do and you will have plenty of time to relax.

Our boys gave us a wonderful Christmas gift by arranging for a weekend at Boots and Saddles. We have stayed at quite a few B&B's over the last few years and, by far, this one is the best. The hosts (Irith & Sam), the breakfast, the double air-jetted tub, and the beautiful room were all perfect. Our every need was anticipated. We've been coming to Sedona for over thirty years, and they amazed us with their knowledge. We now have new (and spectacular) restaurants to revisit , but consider another stay at Boots and Saddles the real reason we won't wait long to make another trip to Sedona! Thank you Irith and Sam.

Irith and Sam are hosts second to none...

Their hospitality and recommendations have never been exceeded in any of our travels. When they make a recommendation, listen as they know what they are talking about.

The breakfasts were outstanding, the accomodations were incredible and the conversations were captivating.

We purchased a time share in Sedona and regret our decision only because of our experience at Boots and Saddles.

If you want to experience the best B&B experience you will likely ever have, give Irith and Sam a call, if not settle for second best!
