Arrived at Boots and Saddles on a Sunday afternoon for 3 nights. We stayed in the Ghost Rider room and it was gorgeous. Impeccably decorated, there was so many small touches around the room that made this a 5 star place. Whether it was the lint roller under the sink, wine glasses and corkscrew already available, telescope on the deck, or iron in the room, everything was planned down to the last detail.

Not only was the room perfect, but the hosts Sam and Irith were great! Breakfast was delicious, after our first breakfast we were given an orientation by Sam as to all the best hiking, restaurants, and shopping to do in Sedona. Luckily because of all my research on Tripadvisor I knew about most of the good spots, but Sam really helped us out on best driving routes, swimming spots, and especially shopping that wouldnt rip us off.

Everything was so great that a fellow guest made a joke that the only thing he could find wrong was that it was hard to get the conditioner out of the bottles! Also, my boyfriend and I are very young and often get treated differently because of that, and at boots and saddles that was not the case at all. Sam, Irith, and Candace(who helped out while Sam and Irith were gone) were so kind and friendly we never had a problem. Overall, everything was so great! If it werent so pricey, i'd go up every weekend from phoenix!

We ended our week long stay in AZ with a two night stay in this delightful bed and breakfast. Our hosts, Sam & Irith, were most accommodating (we arrived very early) and shared their love of the area and concern for their guests in many ways. They offered up the best places to eat, visit and hike. They warned of places to avoid and shared where to pick up a bottle of wine at the best price. The breakfasts were fit for a king! Much care was taken in the preparation and presentation. Absolutely delicious from start ot finish. The common area was warm and friendly with much attention to detail - breakfast place settings changed each day.

We stayed in the City Slickers suite and it was fabulous! The furnishings were rustic yet elegant. The suite was huge, yet warm and inviting. The attention to detail flowed from floor to ceiling. The Boots and Saddles theme carried throughout - even into the bath with fixtures of indian arrows. They didn't miss a thing. The room opened onto a lovely garden patio with a little waterfall. We pushed open the suite french doors one evening and took in the fresh Sedona breeze, the waterfall tricking in the background and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine before a wonderful dinner at a place suggested by Sam. It was like having our own little retreat. They do a terrific job of creating a "getaway" ambiance in the relatively small area they encompass.

Do yourself a favor and stop in for a night or two for your own escape - it is well worth the price.

After researching travel advisor for days, we chose to stay at Boots & Saddles because of the exceptional reviews (we read over 300 reviews, searching for a bad one - which we never found). This was our seventh anniversary and we wanted the place to be special and memorable. We stayed from June 15th through June 19th and it met all of our expectations. From our first phone call with Irith to our last day with Candyce, it was perfection. From the decor, to the ambiance, the facilities, the location we found it to be full of every little touch one could imagine. We stayed in the El Dorado one night and the Sacred Feather for three, both were wonderful. On our last day, Candyce was kind enough to show us all of the rooms and we would be comfortable in any of them - they are all full of warmth and welcome. Sam's recommendation for our jeep tour "A Day in the West" - the sunset tour - was beyond wonderful. Our guide, Jimmy, was knowledgeable and entertaining and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Meal recommendations - especially Irith's recommendation for Savannah - were great. It was the best steak I ever had, and the added "anniversary touches" (rose petals on the table) were romantic. Friendly fellow guests and warm hosts made us comfortable and "at home". You can't go wrong staying at this Bed and Breakfast ... you too, will leave feeling like part of the family.

I don't know what else we could say that everyone else hasn't already mentioned. But I can confirm that the place is indeed fabulous. Perfect for a romantic getaway. We thought it was in a great location away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to everything. Sam and Irith were wonderful hosts with great stories that they share over breakfast. The room was very clean and beautiful (we stayed in the El Dorado and we really loved the private patio with hot tub-- the room looked exactly like the pictures on the website). They've thought of everything-- we especially loved the water canteens provided for hiking and they even have a wine bottle opener and glasses in the room. Perfect!

The only tip I have is that you don't need to make big lunch plans... Sam's breakfasts are enough to carry you through to an early dinner!

It was our first trip to Sedona and we wanted personalized attention and superb service. After several hours comparing B&B's and reading reviews we opted for Boots and Saddles. We are extremely pleased with our choice and can’t give the place anything less than an EXCELLENT rate!
Sam is an incredible man, who is proud of his place and his service and would treat his guests as family. The rest of the staff, from Candyce to Maria and Vicki are always available, always willing to help and ready to make people feel welcomed and appreciated. The rooms are impeccably clean and breakfast is different every day, alternating sweet and savory flavors. Sam’s knowledge of the area makes him the perfect concierge and he definitely saved us hours by proposing the shortest routes to the most significant places to visit.
If you want to receive king treatment in Sedona, look no further than Boots and Saddles.
