My wife and I recently stayed at the Apple Orchard Inn in Sedona and had a fabulous experience. I can't say enough about the Apple Orchard Inn and it's new innkeepers, Nancy and David, and Nan their assistant as well. From the start they made us feel right at home with their gracious hospitality and willingness to assist us in making our trip to Sedona memorable. David, Nancy, and Nan combine just the right amount of efficiency, care, concern, yet space to allow guests to feel comfortable and welcome. They are always there when you need them, and cound't be more accomodating and helpful. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfasts (with praise to Marco the cook) out on the patio, afternoons relaxing in the cooling pool, and evenings at the jacuzzi. The setting and atmosphere of the patio and the two pools is delightful, Our room was also quite nice, theYapavi room,we loved it.We also had the opportunity to view other rooms and found them equally charming. The location of the Apple Orchard Inn is also an asset. Its located on a quiet street off the main streets of Sedona, but its also convenient for restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. There are also some great hiking trails just down the road and it provides quick access to Oak Creek Canyon. In short we can recommend the Apple Orchard Inn as one of the best values in Sedona that has it all. We also have to put in a plug for Benny of Earth Tours whom the inn recommended, he is terrific and we were also very happy with Pink Jeep's Ancient Ruins and Grand Canyon tours. They are a first rate organization. Bob and Karen

We checked in on our 1st Wedding Anniversary, and they had a complimentary bottle of Sparkling cider on ice in our room--which they upgraded (due to a noisey AC unit in the room we booked)! Both Nancy and David were very sweet and quite helpful...and Marco cooked some fabulous breakfasts! The staff are there when you need them and leave you alone for the rest of the time. Nancy is very knowlegeable about the area, and gives perfect directions. The views from the patio area by the hot tub and cold plunge are wonderful. The cold plunge is so nice after a long day sight-seeing in the desert heat. THere are trails to hike very close by (about 1/2-3/4 a mile) and more trails to mountain bike a short drive away. Must do the Page Springs Cellars if you go to Sedona! Our favorite restaurants were, Shugrues Hillside Grill, and Reds at Sedona Rouge. Will definitely stay at the Apple Orchard Inn next visit.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Apple Orchard B&B in June 2007. Keeping in mind Sedona is expensive, we knew the $170.00/night room was not out of the ordinary. The B&B itself is a beautiful home in uptown Sedona. Great location. While the room was ok, (there was a problem with the tv that was acknowledged, but not repaired) the stay in general was just average. The breakfast was adequate but not abundant. However, it was served on a nice back patio with great red rock views. They also advertise that special chocolate chip cookies are available in the afternoon. We never saw any snacks of any type. We didn't have any problems with the staff. They were all friendly and helpful.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Nan greeted us graciously on our arrival and showed us around. Great chocolate chip cookies appear in the afternoon. They also were very helpful with making dinner reservations and also made our reservation for the tour to the Grand Canyon.

My husband and I traveled to Sedona after three days in Las Vegas. We were very excited about how relaxing and quiet the town is. Everywhere you look there is an amazing view - it's just breathtaking.

We enjoyed the Apple Orchard Inn. Sedona is definitely a town where you should stay in a b&b, not a large resort or hotel. We only met one of the innkeepers - it seemed like they were in transition of management or something. It was kind of weird that nobody else came to meet us or anything. The innkeeper we met could have been more friendly and helpful, but it wasn't a big deal. there were cookies in the afternoon, but we never saw any appetizers like the other reviews mentioned.

We stayed in the Steamboat Room, which had a great view, a nice gas fireplace and very comfortable bed. I don't think I've ever had such a good night's sleep. We took full advantage of the pool and patio area everyday.

One of the only complaints we had about the city was that all of the shops seemed to shut down early (someone told us they close when the sun goes down, which for us was around 7:30). then, since there was nothing else to do, the restaurants were always packed. but we really loved the trolley tour that we took and the massages that we received at the Inn.

I think we would probably choose to stay somewhere else if we went back to Sedona, but we would recommend the Inn to friends.
