“Best Diner in Arizona”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2009

It doesn't matter if you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is the best diner in Arizona. The owners are super cool and fantastic chefs. Best known for the chicken fried steak (which you must try), you can't go wrong with any selection (pancakes are also a must try). Go in hungry and come out very satisfied!

“Nice breakfast, but slow service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2006

Decor is typically american : long bar, tables and seats back to back. Located close to the center, along old route 66.
Staff is friendly, but service was a little bit too slow for breakfast, although restaurant was not so crowded.
Good and large breakfast. Price is reasonnable (10$ for eggs, bacon, toast s,orange juice anc coffe, tax included).
Try it.

“Good honest food in a retro cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2006

I first went to the Grand Canyon Cafe when I was 9 years old. I am now 59. I next stoped by 7 years ago and was served by the same waitress who served me as a child. She has since passed away. Anyway, really good Chinese food. The local food is also worth eating. You will notice many Navajo and Hopi eat there. The big neon sign outside is the same as 50 years ago. Just a real nice, down to earth cafe. Chuck
