“Awesome and spectacular!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2009

We took the Broken Arrow tour at 9am. The ride was very fun, especially for our 10 year boy and 12 year old girl. The scenery and views were really wonderful. I would recommend making time for this tour on any visit to the Sedona area.

“What an awesome tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2009

The Pink Jeep Tours in Sedona is a can't-miss attraction. It is pricey but you will never forget the experience. Our family of four thought it was the best time we had in Arizona.
Don't forget to bring your camera!

“Southwest Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2009

We spent a week in the southwest this past summer touring the National Parks with our two children. We ended the week with three days in Sedona. It is one of the most beautiful little towns I have ever been too. It is a fun place, for young and old alike. We did the Pink Jeep Tour which was fantastic and Slide Rock which my children could have spend all day at. It is easy to get around and alot of attractions. My husbacnd came home declaring that is where he wants to retire.

“Pink Jeep Tours runined my Grand Canyon Experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2009

We chose Pink Jeep Tours because of the following guarantees:

1) Tours were small and personalized

2) You Travel in luxury

3) Professional Guides

I am very sorry to say that the tour we experienced did not meet with any of these “guarantees”.

The first issue we encountered was the seating arrangements. After paying almost $700 one would hope that you would not have to sit alone for a day tour especially when the sites to be seen en route were worthy of discussion. Myself and my husband were collected last (and late) and were given no alternative but to sit separately for the duration of the tour. Not very romantic when you are on honeymoon!!

The next issue that arose was our tour guide Bruce. It appeared that on the day of our tour time was an issue with Bruce. As we left the Las Vegas strip Bruce asked if anyone wished to do the skywalk. 4 people of the 9 expressed an interest (us included). Bruce then did his best to try to discourage us not to take the skywalk explaining how expensive, time consuming and disappointing this was. I had previously emailing Pink Jeep Tours to assess if time would be an issue in visiting the skywalk and I was told it wasn’t, but for Bruce however it seemed it was. His discouragement resulted in the couple from India changing their mind and not partaking in the sky walk. We however did manage to do the skywalk and feel it was very worth while experience and that Bruce had no right to discourage people from partaking in this once in a life time opportunity.

During our trip the air conditioning in our “luxury” pink jeep broke down. Now we understand that this was beyond the control of our guide and could have happened in any vehicle at any time. However the manner in which the situation was dealt with was inexcusable. Passengers highlighted to Bruce on the outward journey as to how warm the jeep was becoming (the ac was perfect as we left Las Vegas but after Boulder City things started to become uncomfortable). Bruce tried turning up the air con. I commented that the a/c must be out and he said “well we are fine up here in the front”!! We said that it was boiling in the rear and could he do anything. He said well you’re a/c must be out, mine is fine in the front and I will fill out a service report while I am waiting for you at the Canyon”. I asked how this would benefit our trip and he said it won’t. Bruce had no consideration for any of the passengers in the rear. He could have opened his windows, turned up his functioning a/c or stopped for breaks, but no we were to Bruce’s schedule and that was that! The a/c briefly returned (20 mins) on the return journey but by the time we returned to our hotel we were both drenched in sweat and most uncomfortable. Temperature that day was 104F. Add a small jeep and 10 passengers and you can imagine our experience!!! Bruce had the cheek to criticize the larger tour companies/buses that we passed along the way, at that point we regretted not going with them I am sure their guide and a/c were more pleasant than ours!

Once we got to the canyon everything went great, the helicopter trip, boat trip, skywalk and eagle point were all amazing and lunch was good but a little rushed by the impatient Bruce. Time at Guana Point was limited and by the time we had lunch eaten there was not enough time to climb to the viewing point as Bruce wanted us back on the bus. An Australian member of the group decided to ignore Bruce and did the climb (I now regret not joining him). Bruce put us all back on the bus to the reception area while he waited for the Australian man.

On the return journey Bruce again appeared to be in a hurry. Although he offered a stop to take photos of a Joshua Tree, he was not very keen to stop at the Hoover dam, even though advertising leads you to believe this is a significant part of the tour. After many “are you really sure you want to stop, would you not prefer to get back to your hotel comments” we got to stop briefly at the dam for a photo op. We also thought from the web description that there was an opportunity to stop in Boulder City this never occurred either.

On the journey home Bruce did not interact with the group at all and was more concerned in making calls on his cell (while driving) to arrange dinner plans that evening ~ the reason why I assume he had rushed us all day! At this point I feel Bruce was fed up of our complaining and realized his tip was out the window so no longer tried to interact with the group. We did not tip Bruce (much to his dis-satisfaction), although flyers in the seats were advising us to give him 15% which on $700 is $105. Absolutely no way!!!! We had at that point been in USA for three weeks and had been on several tours all of which we tipped 20% because they were worth it. Bruce left us feeling angry and ripped off so $105 was the last thing he was getting.

I am sure another couple would have a wonderful experience if both Bruce and the Jeep were on top of their game, but to our disappointment on June 2nd neither were!!

We had specifically chosen to experience the Grand Canyon via Pink Jeep Tours because of the assurances of luxury travel, personalized tours and professional tour guides. Each of these elements severely let us down and resulted in a very unpleasant trip throughout.

“Fabulous - well worth the money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2009

We went on the 'Broken Arrow' tour. Myself, partner (40's) and children (6 and 4) It was a fabulous way to see more of Sedona, our guide was knowledgeable about the area and gave lively commentary about the wildlife, rock formations and people of the area. The trip took us way up into the red rocks with great photographic opportunities.
It was scary in parts but the driver was wonderfully confident, the kids loved bouncing around. A great way to spend a few hours, take water, it's hot out there!
