“Great fun in the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

This is fantastic for the family. A park of natural rock slides in the water so prepare to get wet. The kids had no fear, unlike us! It's enormously slippery so take some water shoes and enjoy.

“Picturesque”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

This is a great place to hike and take pictures. The hike is easy, although you traverse some large rocks at times. The creek water is clear and soothing to the ears and there are some small rapids. The surrounding redrock canyon is tranquil.

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

We weren't planning on stopping here but we're glad we did. Its $10 to get in and explore this idyllic little park. Originally an apple orchard I believe but since transformed into a state park. The scenery was beautiful, with the red rock and of course the river. Our kids didn't slide down the rocks because the water was cold. Yet there were some brave people but a few gasps were also evident lol. We bought some apples from the store, which are still grown onsite and had an ice-cream. I imagine in the summer this place would be swarming with people. So it's a great place to stop, for a swim or an ice-cream before on route

“Lots of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

The walk is a little difficult. Be sure to wear shorts and tank tops. There are places to have a pinici lunches. Go in the morning and plan to spend the day exploring.

“Awesome time!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

A little climbing but worth it!! We slid down the cold water and up top had the most delicious apples ever from the orchard store. So much fun!!! Very spiritual place, surreal!
