“Relaxing Fun place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

We stayed at Hospitality Suite Resort in March in a One Bdrm Suite. Great to have the full kitchen and sitting room. We were in building B which was very quiet, there are buildings A, B, and C. Some other guests complained about the noise from building A, which is the largest and has the largest pool area with Happy Hour tables, ect.. Happy Hour was great to visit with other guests. The lounge Jaxons connected to hotel had great happy hour food and drinks.. The bartender Chris was very friendly, professional and greeted us warmly. We went to a couple restaurants in the area, Italian one across the street and Philly's Bar a couple blocks away, both very good. Grocery store and Big Lots (bargain store) across the street where we were able to shop. We did not have a car, so took the free trolley, a little confusion with that, but managed to make our way to downtown. Overall had a great stay at Hospitality and would return again!

Our week-long stay at Hospitality Suites was great! The breakfasts were fine and service was good! We enjoyed the Happy Hour at the hotel each evening - even though lines were long on some nights, it didn't take long to get a drink! Our room was clean as were the grounds of the hotel. We will stay at Hospitality Suites again next year during Spring Training. Yes, we are among the over 60 group that one of the former reviews referred to in their blog...although not over 90!

Room Tip: C section in back was quiet...no road noise.

This was a one night stay as we were on our way to somewhere else, it was ok for one night but if we had of been staying any longer think it would have driven us mad. Luckily the weather was great so we headed for the pool, that was fine, someone announced free drinks from 5.till 6, so we thought lovely we will have a drink then go out to eat,we were next to the bar so we thought get in quick then food, well you have never seen anything like it in your life , I don't know where they all came from but suddenly there were tons of pensioners making a run for the bar, even the ones with walking sticks could have given ussian Bolt a run for his money, it was at least 50 people deep,so we gave up,not that desperate for a drink.so we ate in bar next door again average, free breakfast in the morning glad it was free,it was average,to sum up the weather and some of the locals we met in bar made our stay, would not go back until I am at least 90

Your review made me smile. We have guests of all ages here at the hotel – in the winter months we tend to get an older crowd and we do have some tours that come through that are seniors. As we have kitchens, tennis and basketball, in addition to the heated pools we get quite a lot of families that stay with us as well, especially when school is on break in other parts of the country. It sounds like you hit us at a time when there was a snow storm in Canada, or up north somewhere. Please try us again, before you turn 90 – but if you decide to wait, you will have fun then too.

I stayed for two separate nights before and after another trip. This hotel is very friendly, with a lovely atmosphere around the pool for cocktail hour. What struck me was the number of people who were returning visitors, and the long serving staff who recognised them. That is a good sign of a family run hotel. The rooms are immaculate and have what you need, the decor may not be cutting edge design, but the friendly atmosphere more than outweighs that. The pools are great and the hotel is on the 72 bus route which means that those without a car can go downtown for just $2, and the free airport transfer and breakfast on site are also bonuses.

When I began working at this hotel the long time employees and the number of return guests stood out to me as well. It is a very good sign when you have a company that people are happy to work for and patrons continue to visit. Sometimes we sacrifice some of the fancier amenities to offer reasonable rates, but we keep our property clean and our staff goes above and beyond to accommodate our guests. We are not always 100%, but we do try! Thank you for noticing.

We stayed here on 26th, January 2013 after arriving late at Phoenix. The hotel is easy to find and on arriving at the reception were greeted by a very helpful receptionist. The room was clean, quiet and warm. With breakfast included, the stay was great value and I would definately stay again. Many thanks for looking after us at the start of our holiday!

We were two couples who recently returned from a week's stay at the Hospitality Suites in Tempe/Scottsdale. We were not looking for luxurious accomodations; we wanted clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a reasonable price. We found exactly that and more at the Hospitality Suites!

Who cares if the rooms aren't lavish in their design and accoutrements? We didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms anyway. The rooms were clean and included a fridge, hotplate and microwave. The pools were kept at 82F and there were three quadrangles of suites, each with its own pool. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. When we wanted directions to a point of interest, or golf course, they provided a Google Map printout as often as we wished. Whenever there was a problem, the staff responded within minutes to rectify the situation. Lots or people had small dogs with them; too bad that ours had to stay home.

The place seems to attract friendly people; we became good friends with several of the people who occupied the rooms near us. Free breakfast was served from 6 am until 10 am, and the food and selection were great! Every night from 5pm until 6:30pm was Happy Hour with free drinks of whatever you liked were provided and they weren't watered down. The Happy Hour patio was another place to meet new people whom we waved to or talked to throughout our stay. Not only did they pick us up at the airport, they also drove us back to pick up our rental later in the day of our arrival. When we wanted suggestions of things to do, or great places to eat, the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend this place to people who don't need fancy art or decorations in and around their rooms.

Great work staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back without any hesitation! If you want pomp and ceremony, go some place else. If you want a lot of laughs and a pleasant holiday, try the Hospitality Suites!

Room Tip: Choose the ground floor of either quadrangle B or C. These areas are quiet and full of friendly peo...
