We booked two nights because of location to the Fashion Mall - there is a 3 story building being erected right next door - the workers began working at 2:00 AM - loud metal banging for the rest of the night. Spoke to the Manager on Duty the next morning and got no where - acted like it had never happened before...said she would call the city of Scottsdale and report those workers....my ears were ringing the noise was so loud..of course had to pay entire bill but did check out and went elsewhere for night number two....TV picture was barely viewable..we overlooked that but the construction noise...unbelieveable...I hope never to stay in a Days Inn again..this chain is going down hill fast!!!! I've given them the last benefit of doubt after several disapointments...this one took the cake!!!

Don't anyone fall for this best rate gurantee or you get first nite free. I found two websites offering rates as much as $50 a night cheaper,and Days Inn refused to honor their promise of first night free. They said I booked king bed, and websites only offer "run of the house" rooms so I did not get the offer rebate. We all know a room is a room, 2 beds or 2 bed who cares. They should change name of hotel to Scams Inn of Scottsdale. I have cancelled my booking and found an honest,clean reputable hotel to stay at. Do not stay and Days Inn of Scams Inn as I call it.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights - we weren't expecting too much for the price. I found check - in was very efficient and quick. Rooms were very big - each having two double beds, tv, tea and coffee making facilities and a huge fridge. They also have table and chairs and a huge air con unit. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped including hair dryer. The location was excellent - you could walk to the Fashion Mall. The pool was ok - a bit on the small side. Only down side I would say was there is no bar here - not sure if thats an American thing - but the guy on reception happily drove us in his car to the nearest one for free!!! And I agree with an earlier review there are a few characters should we say knocking about the area. It is very much like a motel - you have your front door and then you are outside onto the motorway. Probably only strange for the English as we are used to corridoors haha. Anyway all in all great value for money and the plus points out weight the minuses by far. Great for a budger break.

Check in was ok. The rom was very tired and dated. We stayed here for the proximity to fashion square shopping mall but the walk through the parking lot to the room was extremly un nerving. The pool was outdoors and poorly lit. Not very good value at $89 for a tired and run down room.
