We stayed at this hotel for one night during a recent trip to Arizona, I was a bit worried when I read the reviews on this site about dirt etc. However we did not find this at all, as HH Diamond members we were upgraded and the room was spacious, clean and cheery. The bathroom was spotless but I agree with other reviewers that it was small, but adaquate none the less.

Checking in was fine. The concierge however did give us some inaccurate information - beware of this. All other staff were curteous and helpful. We used the hotel restaurant for breakfast only and found it good. We dined out in the evening and there are a multitude of restaurants to choose from nearby.

Grounds and pool were lovely and well maintained. Overall we found this resort good and would return if in the area.

Just back from my first stay at this property and have been going to Scottsdale for more than a decade. Location is great. Staff helped us with all our special needs like a late check out after golf. Would use this as a base location any time for my next trip to Scottsdale.

Being a Hilton honors member, I persuaded my colleagues to stay at this property, and it was a mistake. The room was a good size and well furnished. The bathroom was extremely small, compared to most hotels I stay in the area. There were huge amounts of dirt and dust in the vents of the room. On three separate occasions, I had huge dust balls fall on me as I was standing at the bathroom sink. I requested the hotel have it cleaned on 3 occasions, and it never happened.

The noise levels between the rooms is worse than other hotels I have stayed. Also, there is a tent where they host their in-house events. The noise and loud music would continue throughout the evening.

We ate at Flemings, the 'premiere' restaurant. The food is average at best, but the service is horrible. For $400 for 4 people, our expectations were relatively high, but they missed everything. Our food took almost an hour between appetizers and entrees. Our server never said a word. When the food arrived, it was cold or not prepared correctly.

After complaining about the food, the manager listened and did nothing.

The Wellness Center advertises as a Spa. I worked out in the gym portion, and just warn you it is not very spa-like. It is painted pink and purple with most stuff very old or broken.

I attempted to engage the staff to register concerns, and they are great at listening and it stops there. I think they realize the place is a dump and are just used to hearing people complain about it.

The pool and grounds are nice, but there are other properties in the area with much better facilities at comparable prices.

First of all, the place looks nothing like the photos.

Next, the hotel is sprawling and this led to my not quite feeling secure on the property. Sure, its Scottsdale so there is little to worry about. Nonetheless, I would not be comfortable with my wife, mother or sister staying here alone.

The pool is nice, the hot tub is nice too. Plenty of parking, but again NO visible security or cameras (even the simple sign threatening a camera can be a deterrent). Staff is cordial, but no one went out of there way or left a particularly good impression. I was there for four nights, so there was ample time for someone to step it up.

Food was nothing special. I did not eat at Flemings as there are simply too many other choices in the immediate area.

The health club is a glorified exercise room and the fact that outsiders pay for its use is pretty pathetic.

The rooms are spacious, but are laden with potential upcharges. The minibar is stocked, but they also leave a basket of goodies for you. Under the tray is a price list for things you may have unwittingly eaten. The same package that is normally left out for Elite guests is being pawned off as upcharge snacks- petty. The water is also upcharged. Then, they slip a note under your door stating that Scottsdale officials have recommended you NOT drink the tap water. NOW, they want to give you the water that they originally wanted to sell you. How kind.

I was here for a conference and can't say that I would come back or even recommend the property.

“Needs some management oversight”

Picked this hotel as a Hilton Gold member on a business trip. The folks are pleasant enough but if you are looking for a destination hotel forget it. The pool is under construction and only marginally open with painters and construction equipment. The pool bar may as well not be open as the drink machine didn't work, etc. My biggest complaint is the absolute absence of any sound baffling between room walls, ceilings, or floors. You hear every sound from the rooms around you...god help you if there are kids surrounding you. I was in a ground floor king that opened on the pool--supposedly one of the best rooms in the hotel. I heard every sound made in the rooms above me for the entire 3 days. When I mentioned it to the front desk the response was.."Gee". No ice machines working on the first floor.."under construction". Front desk gave me directions to the closest one...I ended up calling room service. Generally a disappointing place to stay...felt sorry for the folks vacationing here.
