“Good hotel in a great location.”

I stayed in this hotel for two nights in August and was very satisfied with it…considering what I paid and where it is located. The best feature of the hotel is its location-right in the middle of old town Scottsdale. It is in an area full of great restaurants, bars, and an ice-cream parlor open till midnight. These are all a coupe of hundred yards from the hotels front entrance. So if you want such a centrally located hotel, this is the place.
As for the hotel itself it is a three star hotel with 4 star interiors. I got a pool front room and it did face the pool. pool was small and all in all nothing very fancy. In fact it was somewhat disappointing n that one evening the only people in the pool other than myself was two couples who had brought a 12 pack of beer poolside and were wading around holding their beer cans. The room interior was very nice with a great bed, bedding and the large screen flat panel TV. The hotel also had both valet and self parking which is right next to the hotel buildings.
All in all I found the hotel very good and would stay there again.
I found a great cigar lounge, Cigar Warehouse, a few miles away at 13802 N. Scottsdale Rd. It had the selection, furniture and atmosphere conducive to smoking and relaxing. I look for cigar lounges all over the world and this is one of my top thee.

“LOVE THE MONDRIAN”

Mondrian Scottsdale

Aug 25, 2008

We stayed at the Mondrian last weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and catered to our every need. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of old town Scottsdale. The pool was lovely and had a DJ spinning for the 20-30 something crowd. The rooms were very modern with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel!!!
We will be returning to this hotel again !

“Trendy and Fun”

Scottsdale, Arizona

My husband and I live in Scottsdale but decided to enjoy a quick getaway at the Mondrian. Although we didn't quite fit the demographic (20-30 year olds) we found the hotel to be chic, trendy, and alot of fun. The Red Bar was like nothing we had ever seen before and the speciality drinks were great. We had dinner at Asia de Cuba which was fantastic. Such a unique dining experience and some of the best food in Scottsdale. The rooms were minimalist and modern, very different than the "typical" resorts in town. We would definitely consider coming back next time we need a night away from the kids!

“A Great Girls Weekend Retreat”

Just came back from a fantastic "girls" weekend at the Mondrian in Scottsdale. The hotel is very hip and fun, and the service was excellent. Everyone made us feel welcome and at home. The pool is really unique... it's like a big party, where everyone makes friends and has a good time together. The Red Bar was great (fantastic martinis) and dinner at Asia de Cuba was incredible. I would highly recommend this hotel! Shopping is also convenient (Scottsdale Fashion Square is right down the street) and lots of bars and restaurants are just outside the front door of the hotel! It was a perfect getaway!

“Loved The Mondrian”

Mondrian Scottsdale

Aug 4, 2008

I just got back from a great weekend at The Mondrian and wanted to share my experience with everyone. It was my first time to the property and I will most definitely be back. The location is the best in Scottsdale and the service was among the best I've seen anywhere. The scene that they've created at the pool rivals that of any hotel I've stayed at in Vegas or L.A.
