I picked this hotel because it was reasonably priced, but was already a bit wary given the reviews I had seen here. I must say that my experience was so disappointing that I checked out after a single night and went back to my favorite Phoenix-area hotel for the rest of my stay.
The hotel is in a very odd location on a main road, surrounded by small strip malls and car dealerships, and there is a "massage" place right next to the parking area.
The receptionist was indifferent and not particularly welcoming. The room was particularly small and dark, and definitely in need of updating. The bathroom's fixtures were all quite dated, except for the curved shower curtain rod. The slow and erratic wireless internet did not work well at all. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the TV is a good size with lots of channels. The room does have a small fridge and microwave.
I could imagine this being a suitable budget hotel for a family with younger kids on a quick stopover in the area (there is a pool), or perhaps for an older couple, but would not recommend it for business travel at all.
Note that unlike most other Best Western hotels, this one does not provide free breakfast, and instead directs you to a place nearby or their on-site restaurant, but which opens far too late to be useful.
