I "won" a night at this motel for $35 on Priceline and that was still too much to pay to stay here! This is a very scary and skeevy motel! I would not recommend staying here alone, especially if you are a single female traveler!
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was very easy. This is a very old motel and has the look and feel of those extended stay places where people move in and then live there forever.
I felt less than safe at this place and I moved the sofa in front of the door before I went to sleep for the night. The customers staying here were less than desirable types. Several groups of rough looking men would hang out by the pool area, and others would smoke in the hallway. I just felt so unsafe here!
The room was comfortable but far from spacious, and the bathroom is ridiculously tiny. Worst of all, the room was in poor repair and was very dirty. The shower had a used disposable razor sitting in it along with a bar of used soap and hairs all over the tub. The window screen was ripped and torn and the room was in a general state of dirty disrepair. The photos don't look so bad, but it is awful in person!
The location is very good, just a short hop away from the ritzy Kierland Commons shopping district, but this place is really, really bad. I would not recommend this even to my worst enemies!
