“Hotel Indigo - The Trendy Boutique”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

I've been to multiple Hotel Indigos. This one is a top runner but still has room for improvement.

Rooms - they are trendy like all Hotel Indigos. Great Beds. Great decor. Location we had on this particular visit was overlooking the parking lot and the club, so it was loud and walls are thin. Couldn't get any sleep.

Service - it could have been better, but it was good nonetheless.

Location - PERFECT

Price - value!!

All in all, would definitely stay again, but if you have the money and can spare a few extra for a superb hotel - I still highly recommend the Montelucia. Nothing beats that!

This place has it all - great rooms and rates, awesome staff and no better location to launch from to enjoy all that Scottsdale and Phoenix has to offer. Don and Charlies Steakhouse just across the parking lot. I can't wait to go back!

So, this trip I stayed in the Executive Suite...And Worth It!!!
This place is awesome!!!! And I love the good vibe from the area...
As for anyone reading this, when booking the room, ask for the price that includes breakfast... And if your alone, be sure to still get your 2 breakfast slips (YOU DID PAY FOR IT) That way you get an entree and a side...
The omelette with chorizo was really good...went PERFECT with the Bloody Mary!
Next time, I will try a Jr Suite.... Heard they have a balcony!!!!

So, until next time....

Room Tip: If your cool with the nightlife crowd noise, get a club side room... If you want more quiet, face th...

This boutique hotel is located in the trendy old town area of Scottsdale. It is close to to all the restaurants & great shopping. You can walk or taxi to may great bars & not have to worry about driving. They have a cool vibe with the outdoor patios. The room was very modern/updated and the bathroom had an awesome shower! They have wi-fi and a desk in the room as well-it came in handy when I had to negotiate a contract on my "day-off"! The staff was friendly & .accommodating. They do have a company vehicle and were kind enough to drop us off at our first destination in old town! They have a nice private pool & a bar & restaurant there too! This is a great place to stay!

Stayed here hoping to be near some restaurants, bars, etc without having to drive. Unfortunately, the types of places that DO exist within walking distance all turn into serious party clubs packed with the freshly-turned-21 crowd after sundown, replete with bouncers and velvet ropes. The pool was tiny and often in the shade. They have a bar and decent outdoor patio, but even though the hotel was full on a holiday weekend, it was just about deserted at all times. The property really should do something to attract a bit of a social atmosphere down there and generate some business for themselves. A happy-hour maybe with hors d'oeuvres and drink specials? The parking situation is awful. The parking lot that they actually own is quite small and quickly fills up, requiring me to park in the street or in the lot of a temporarily-closed club next door. Don't let them charge you $9 for parking if you can't even use their lot. There's plenty of safe parking right out front in the street for free anyway. Don't even use or pay for their stupid parking in my opinion, unless you have an extremely nice car and don't want it outside all night. There is no concierge for advice. There is no room refrigerator. The picture quality on the flat-screen wasn't that great and Discovery channel was nothing but static. I did appreciate the non-carpeted floor with throw-rugs (reduces the germ factor a little). So, if you're over 30 and are done with the hard-core clubbing scene yet want to be near old-town Scottsdale, take a look at the Saguaro, Firesky, Valley Ho, or the Hyatt (shockingly nice).

Stayed for our annual Memorial Day Weekend hockey tournament. Central location and close to everything in Scottsdale. Staff were outstanding. It can get loud around the hotel but this little oasis of calm was great.

Room Tip: Ask for the west wing, only 6 rooms on this wing and no hallway traffic.

Looking for the perfect stay in Scottsdale? You need to book your room at the Hotel Indigo! While visiting to help son move back home for the Summer Break, I wanted to stay at a hotel with close proximity to ASU that has first class shopping and nearby restaurants with a local flair. The view from the 4th floor was breathtaking as you can see Camelback Mtn. and the lovely view of the very inviting pool that makes you want to take a dip! The room is nice, clean and the shower door has a round hole that allows you to turn on the shower before jumping in to make sure the water is just right! Bed is comfy and the Team Members at the hotel are very nice and know how to provide great service! You are treated like family by everyone! They smile and appreciate your business! It's my #1 hotel recommendation in Scottsdale!

Room Tip: Always request high floor and Camelback Mtn. view!
