“Love this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Best pizza we've found in Scottsdale! Also...best Caesar salad I've ever had! Love the casual atmosphere and the patio is a fun place to watch the sunset.

“The service never improves”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013 via mobile

I live right in the neighborhood and try this place every 6-8 months. The service is just, "we don't care."
We even sat at the bar once and told the owner we lived up the street.. she was bar-tending. she barely acknowledged our presence and didn't even ask if we wanted another glass of wine when our glasses were empty.

“Cozy and comfortable...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Met my cousin and his wife here for lunch. None of us had ever been here before. The sun was shining directly on the outdoor seating are so we opted to sit inside. The view from the outside seating area was very pleasant and I think that once the sun was off the deck that would be the place I would choose. The inside was cozy, comfortable and nicely decorated with humorous signs here and there. It was a weekday and we just about had the place to ourselves. The bartender was also our waitress and was efficient and unobtrusive. My wife and I split the "Chicago" pizza and each had a side salad. My cousin had a beef sandwich that looked marvelous and his wife had the "Couscous" (sp?). Our little side salads were fresh and crisp and our pizza was better than expected. (I'm from Chicago) Everyone in our party enjoyed their lunch. It is a wine and beer bar only and although none of us had any on this particular day the selection of each seemed impressive. Our bill, sans tip, was a little over $50. Not bad for 4 people. I would go there again......

“Lacksidasical - staff - impressive unique Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

We visited early on a happy hour Friday. Light customers and staff was not attentive. For a wine "bar" we expected some assistance on the wine options. With the light customers this could of been a great experience, instead it was like a cool reception :( Pizza was unique and very thin crust. The men loved the steak and blue cheese pizza. Girls had the popey a spinach bacon combination Very small pizza for the price. Appetizer size. We did use a groupon so for our test night and we had a group of four. We MAY be back. If the staff can step up this could be a nice place for locals to visit.

“Good food, great location, overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

The venue is perfect, an upper deck patio with nice views. The occasional live music is perfect, not too loud, doesn't drown out conversation. The staff is friendly and prompt. The salads are tasty and well-made and the pizzas reminiscent of the lavosh cracker crust pizzas you used to be able to get at The Grapevine in Old Town Scottsdale: crispy thin with quality ingredients. The only problem here is the pricing: salads and pizzas are really inexpensive food. Some people wouldn't, but I consider the pizzas individual size. So if a couple came for 2 salads and 2 pizzas, WITHOUT wine (but then it is a pizza and WINE bar, right?) you'd already be looking at almost $50. We went for Happy Hour on half price wine night, so had a bottle of our favorite Zin, 2 pizzas, and shared a salad and our bill was $60. Really, that's all we would pay at any time for this exact meal. It's pizza and lettuce, not grass-fed beef and truffles. And the reason we would pay that much is because of the venue. We will definitely be back, unless they take away Happy Hour!
