We had one of our final dinners here when in Scottsdale. Service was as expected impeccable (one small complaint would be the managers attitude which seemed a bit short for us, terse would be a better word). We had a seat by the window facing the lake which was arranged by the concierge at our hotel. A really nice touch was menus printed with our names on them! never seen that before. They then wrapped them in a ribbon to take with us. A nice touch. I ordered a soup which was delicious and a steak which was melt in your mouth and perfectly cooked. I was driving so just had water but take a taxi and enjoy a glass of wine with the meal.
All in all it was great, although the group at a table behind us did manage to allow their two small children to squeeze past our tables and press their heads against the glass window disturbing our view and the peace and quiet we anticipated with their lack of manners. We have children so are not immune however there is a time and place and in a restaurant of this quality one would expect parents to either not bring kids or teach them how to behave in such a place. This group just let them run around the place with no control or concern for other diners. It would have been nice if the restaurant manager had taken a little action and asked them to rein in the children.
