I beat the noon lunch rush by a few minutes and didn't have any trouble snagging a table at this popular chain (part of PF Chang's). They have an online passport program that gives you the chance to earn coupons for free entrees when they introduce new or special dishes. I redeemed my coupon (BOGO) for the new Hong Kong BBQ and found it to be quite delicious. I tried it with wok-fried chicken plus red pepper, spicy sauce, celery, and onion over brown rice, in the "diner select" version that comes with a spring roll. Just the right amount of food - and less expensive too! - for lunch. Parking is plentiful in the Gainey Ranch shopping plaza, and it's near the Hyatt at Gainey Ranch if you are staying there - not walking distance unless you really like to walk, though.
I've never had a bad meal at Pei Wei - and I'm guessing you won't either!
