“We were there in the offseason.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

We had a good experience. We stayed there one night after we flew into Phoenix on the way towards our vacation in Sedona. It was off season in Scottsdale, so we got a great rate. The property is older, but is decent. The Sunday buffet was a good bargain. Whatever room rate you get via an online quote may not include the $20 resort fee.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Scottsdale Resort for three days as a facilitator for a conference/workshop. The staff in every area of the resort were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Customer service seems to be very important to them and I appreciate all they did for me while I was there.

A very nice high end room for a great price. Rooms are finished in dark classic furniture. Nice staff, beautiful landscaping, and a pretty close drive to many sights. The pool was OK here, a bit small for the size of the resort, but what I really appreciated was that it is open all night. Very relaxing to take a late night plunge (hot tub too) and then retire to your room in the provided robes. My only complaint, is that the bed was very soft & seemed a bit worn, although immaculately made up. Woke up with a back ache, but that is a personal preference.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms are not that great, as there are lots of trees around the pool. If a choice, go for...

Hotel well appointed comfortable rooms, Free parking, wi-fi in rooms included, kids had a ball swimming, playing tennis, basketball and biking. Wife and I liked the fitness center and spa. Nice billiard tables, happy hour with live entertainment. Finally, one of the best Champagne brunches in Scottsdale. Overall great resort. No hidden fees;Tennis court, Basketball court, Movie theater, Billiards, Wi-Fi, Bike rental all included we used them all and they were all included!!!!! This is our third stay at the Scottsdale Resort. Take care of your customers and they come back.

Last resort we stayed in charged us $30 for parking on top of a resort fee.

Stayed here on Sunday, Monday nights in June, so did not expect a large crowd. But it felt as if we were the only people there. Kind of eerie. Front desk staff was indifferent. Room was nice, with comfy beds.
We did not eat in restaurant as it was very expensive. The hotel is a good drive to any shopping or restaurants.

This hotel had fantastic staff and was very clean! It was a bit slow -- but they had a great happy hour! The gym was great with nice locker room. The comfortable lounge chairs and outdoor bar made the pool are very nice. The pool was clean (a bit small for a resort) and everything was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the room very quiet. We enjoyed our three nights at the resort and you can't beat the price.

We are local. Spent one night without our kiddos to celebrate our anniversary. This beautiful hotel is the best deal in the Valley. Great staff, huge room. There is a $19 resort fee, which we were well aware of prior to booking. Resort fees are the norm in Scottsdale. . . Love this property and we will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Request a golf course view room.
