The idea of staying at a conference center did not appeal to us at first, but fellow reviewers here on TripAdvisor convinced us otherwise. THAT is why I like this website so much. This place is a little off the beaten path and we enjoyed that. You're able to get to the main roads in just seconds and get where you need to go. This is a very relaxing place with many places to kick back and enjoy. The bar, the pool and the poolside bar were a real treat. The staff here was tremendous, friendly and on the spot. When a party broke out in a room next to us at 1:30 in the morning, we called the front desk and within 60 seconds a hotel employee was at their door to deal with the situation. The room was clean and spacious. The double sinks (one in the bathroom and another outside the door) were great for the two of us to get ready at the same time. Our only knock on this place was an overpriced breakfast buffet. $20 a head for the buffet got you nothing more than some cold scrambled eggs & sausages, along with two cereals, some juice and coffee. Not worth it and we were "one and done" with that buffet. We never did have dinner there so can't comment on it. Overall this place was a great value and even though were several large groups having meetings during our stay, we always felt like it was more "resort" than conference center. We would return here.
