I cannot say anything really bad about this place, but i really cannot find anything great either, average is the perfect adjective...I went there 3 times, and it was OK, the chopped salad is good, the burrata is good (bought somewhere else) and the spicy goop on the side doesn't match at all the fine taste of the cheese, totally overkill...The salmon salad is a joke for $19, under the excuse of serving 5oz MAx of scottish salmon and a few pieces of romaine scattered sadly on the plate...no no no ! the veggie plater is quickly put together with no after or before thinking, again $14 for 3 pieces of beet, asparagus, 2 slices of quite watery (not heirloom as advertised) tomatoes seems simple without any creative spark. Again, you will eat decent food, not terrible, but without any cognitive nor creative twist. I do find the prices high, and lunch can run you for 1 app and 2 dishes around 50 bucks...The service, the 3 times i was there, was completely detached, almost indifferent...i do not want a foot rub, but when you have to pur your own wine (bottle), ask to get dirty plates removed from the first course, ask for water and receive the check without being asked about desserts or coffees, i do not call this fiasco, GOOD SERVICE.
A one-pony trick restaurant that seems to content the least discriminating urban/nouveau yuppies....My last meal there was over 70 bucks for 2 (lunch), they are many more great options for great food, decent portion and attentive service in Scottsdale, i tried, sorry not for me !
