“Great Food and Beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

This place a was pleasant surprise. We thought we would be getting the regular bar food, but we were really surprised.

My husband ordered a mushroom swiss burger and said it was the best burger he has ever had!
I order the special that was called Tuscan Chicken. It was excellent! Thinly sliced chicken breast grilled with a balsamic reduction was served over a light alfredo with brocolli. The chicken was then topped with heirloom tomatoes and cheese. Super Yummy!

We each had a draft beer, and they were both excellent!

Yes, we'll return!

“Great beer, food and value !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

We ate dinner off of the appetizer menu and tried a beer sampler in mid March. We were seated right away and were met with regular check-ins on our service and food from the manager and our waitress throughout the evening. The beers are all made by Four Peaks and are very good. Of the nine that we tasted a few were less than impressive but the Hop Knot IPA, Hefeweizen and the Black IPA were all excellent. The food (BBQ wings, fries and spanakopita) was great and the portions were generous. Overall a very nice experience at an unpretentious and hospitable local brew pub.

“Great food & drink, but...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

Went to Four Peaks to try their beer and enjoy their food while traveling with some co workers. Beer was great (of course) and the food was very good with a nice menu. This would have been a 5 star review except for a major service issue we had.

We ordered our drinks (3 of us ordered flights) and appetizers. Then we ordered our food before our appetizers where delivered. For some reason our meals came out about 15 seconds after our appetizers arrived. Not only was there no room on our table for the additional plates, but I really hate being rushed when I want to relax and enjoy the night out. It really ruined the meal for us and made it a less enjoyable evening.

This is not to say that our server was not nice or good, but someone messed up in the timing. We sent the food back to be brought out later, but then it was brought back just two minutes later after sitting under heat lamps.

I suggest not ordering your meal until you've finished your appetizers.

“Earns your repeat business”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

We have tried this spot twice in a month. Both times we have been impressed. The servers are young, competent and knowledgeable. The food is good, the beers are very good and the prices are fair. Serving sizes are generous.

And it is a Mn. Vikings bar!

“Nice place for a beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Honestly, only stopped here for a couple of beers. Not sure how the food was. However, I can say the Four Peaks 8th Street Pale Ale is really good. However, the Hefeweizen is not a typical Hef. The menu does say it has a taste of banana and cloves. In my opinion the taste of banana puts it in the category of fruity beers as that was the prevalent taste. Typically used to Hefs that are smooth to the palate.
