We went to Eddie V's not really knowing what to expect and we're pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was large and somewhat noisy but not so loud as to not be able to carry on a conversation with the people at our table. Our server had an excellent knowledge of the menu, the seafood, and the cuts of meats being featured that night. She was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole support staff worked well together to insure that all customers were being attended to in a timely manner. The scallops that I ordered were cooked perfectly but I felt the citrus butter could have been more citrus than butter as I felt the citrus flavors got lost. My friend's tuna was slightly over cooked, but not terrible. And the other entrees ordered at the table were beautifully presented, and cooked perfectly as well. My one bad review would be of the live music. At first we were pleased to see there was going to be music during dinner, but the type of music that was played was disappointing as it just didn't fit in with the decor or ambiance of the restaurant. I felt a light jazz would have been more suitable. At any rate, if you like seafood, Eddie V's is the place for you.
