Kierland is a very playable resort course with fairly generous landing areas and good greens. This Scott Millar design threatens enough with good bunkering and some water but is playable as long as you keep your nerve. We found the course in excellent condition, the only downside being that there were only 18 of the 27 holes open so we had to play the same 18 twice. One magical thing about this place was the bagpiper stood by the 18th green at dusk as we putted out. This guy plays most nights between 6-7pm so try to finish your round then and Kierland will stick in the mind for a long time.
