We stayed here for 3 nights in March and really enjoyed our time here. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice - the only drawback was that it was just off the reception area and the view was of the carpark.
We spent a lot of our time by the pool and had lunch there 2 days which was very nice. My only concern here is that there is only one person allocated here to look after all of the guests and he did seem to be a bit overworked - but he tried hard (I think his name is Ben). Also, I found it a bit strange that at a five star resort we were expected to make up our own sunbeds - not a huge chore obviously but not quite what i was expecting.
We loved the beautiful lobby area and really enjoyed the wine tastings in the afternoon. We also had coffe here in the mornings but there was no sign of the pastries which we were informed would also be there?
We found the ambassadors to be very pleasant and helpful and we really appreciated the free transport into town which we took advantage of several times.
We ate at the Italian restaurant one night and had a very nice meal followed by drinks by the open fireplace at the Thirsty Camel.
All in all a very nice stay which I think deserves a four star rating.
