The Best Western San Carlos Az
Date, Feb 5th 2009
We went to San Carlos to ride the train which was really nice. We spent the night at the hotel, did'nt realize just how many buses were brought in from Phoenix and the surrounding areas. Everyone who comes in on the bus (or who stays at the hotel) is given a coupon book for free drinks and a buy one get one free meal at the buffett. This means the casino is very crowded and the line for the buffett is out the door. I would suggest you drive 5 mins into Globe and eat there. With the exception of housekeeping, everyone else at the hotel and the casino needs to take classes in Customer Service. They were the most grumpy, unhappy people I have ever had to deal with. Its like they hate their jobs! The room was nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable, but I don't think we will go back again, the casino is way too small to handle the volume of people that go there on the buses everyday.
