Our rooms were clean, beds were comfortable are the only positives I can say. We had 3 rooms for 4 nights, on a Friday the 28th of December I came back to my room to find the bed unmade. Not just unmade but no sheets or pillow cases, the top blankets were in a pile on the chair. I called down to the front desk and told the lady that answered that my room did not get made up. She said she would get some sheets and bring them up which I thought was great. In only a few minutes she showed up and promptly threw them on the chair and said she would let them know and left. I was in disbelieve, I have never had to make up my own bed at a hotel, but which I did since I had to or sleep in a bed with no sheets! And since the lady that brought them stated she would let them know I figured that the manager would be informed of the snafu, but I heard nothing from Tammy, probably a communication problem. The front desk people were friendly and helpful when we had to get our room cards redone.
Another thing that was weird is that they took the soap that was new and shampoo that was only used once and put new out every day. To us this was a waste, most hotels just put out a new one and leave the partially used and then I throw it away when I’m finished. I think we all would like to keep costs down, and one way would let the guests use up the shampoo and soap.
The free breakfast was lackluster, not much to choose from if you have health issues and need some verity. We might be back in a year and try it again since the price seemed to be the best around.

First let me thank you for choosing your Days Inn during your recent stay in Saffrod and taking the time to provide us with your comments and feedback. It is true, reading this review was the first time I had been informed of the situation. It was nowhere to be found in our log books and for that as well as the need to say it all, I apologize. A guest should never have to make their own bed. All of your comments regarding the bed and the amenities have been turned over to the head of housekeeping for review. Your comment regarding the use of shampoos and soaps was appreciated for a cost basis. We have so many corporate customers that sometimes finish jobs early and then check out early, it is our policy to not only change out amenities but to also change the linens on a daily basis unless requested by the guest. Maybe we should implement the same policy for the soap and shampoo. We hope that you will stay with us again. Have safe travels!
