Excellent variety of house made olives and olive oils. Olive oil tasting is a nice touch before having to choose what to buy. Excellent gift shop. The only drawback - it's a bit pricey, but worth it.

“"A great stop for tourists or locals"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

Happened upon the olive mill three years ago on our first trip to Arizona. We enjoyed it so much it has become a "must do" stop each year since. The tour is so informative and interesting about the growing of olives and the processing of olive oil. It must be a very popular stop for many people, because each time we stop the joint is jumping! For a real treat plan to enjoy a meal at their lovely deli area. You won't be disappointed! Everything is so fresh and delicious! They also have a coffee bar, and offer many AZ products including wines. I would advise that it probably is not a place that would interest small children. A great stop and well worth your time!

“LOVED this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

Tour and education on olives was tops! Inside store so many helpful people to explain their products. Lunch looked delicious, although I didn't try anything - literally dozens of people did. I like that the shop sells AZ made products - coffee bar, painted pottery, granola. I love to buy items made by local people.

Of course I purchased some oils to take home. I will also be online ordering more when I am home on the east coast. And I cannot wait to bake with the delicate oil - moist cake! Yum!

“Enjoyable, Educational, Unique Attraction”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Queen Creek Olive Mill. Unfortunately the olives are harvested in Oct./Nov. so we did not see them on the trees or being picked. It cost us 5.00 each for a very informative presentation on the making of olive oil. This also included the opportunity to taste several kinds of olive oil. We were able to see the machines and vats/tanks where the oil is made and stored and were opportunity to ask questions. The Mill includes a restaurant and gift shop where you can buy the various oils as well as soaps, lotions and other products made from the oil, ceramic dishes/bottles to use with the oil, tee shirts and other items. Although we did not eat at the restaurant there were many people who were and the food looked fresh and delicious. They also sell wine.
Well worth a visit.

“Busy, but good info”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

Wow! This little sleeper of a place was hopping! The luncheon area was a zoo, but seemed to be handled efficiently. We did not try to eat, but the food looked fantastic!

We took the tour, which consisted of a seat in the Pressing Room where the speaker gave an overview of the process of squishing olives into oil, and then she answered questions. Quite educational, but I wish we could've seen some olives on the trees. Our fault - we were there at the wrong time of year for harvest.

I purchased a few items and they happily shipped them to me across the country with no hassle.

Overall, a worthy trip, but probably not interesting to young children and perhaps a call ahead to see what time is less busy would be warranted if you want to avoid the mass crowd.
