I've loved this place in the past, and I hate to say that I found it dirty, unorganized and overpriced this time around. I visited the QC Olive Mill last Sunday afternoon, bringing four friends who had never been there before and three others who had. We came for lunch, oil tasting, to purchase some oil and take a tour. The food was o.k. - smaller portions than I remember (sandwiches), especially for the price. One exception...the homemade sangria was wonderful. The last tour was at 2:30, and did not afford us enough time to enjoy our lunch and join it (I've found the tour informative in the past). The one thing that disappointed me more than anything else, the olive oil tasting table was disgustingly dirty & dusty, and the oil bottles and tasting cups were unorganized (making it difficult to taste in the order they recommended). I did not see anyone tending to it while I was there, which was perplexing... Lastly, the bathrooms smelled and were also dirty. We traveled over an hour to enjoy the Olive Mill. I wish it would have been how I remembered it from past visits. My friends did end up buying some Olive Mill products. And, I did purchase some fig/balsamic syrup, which is really tasty...but I'm sorry to say that this was my last visit.
