“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

Stopped in as friends had recommended. Had the fish & chips which were not good. Or friends sald there taco salad was decent. Try the quartzite yacht club as it's much better.

“Decent, but not Great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

We were looking for dinner and a drink--not pizza and a beer--and this restaurant was the best we could find. The food was good but nothing special...we had the taco salad and fish & chips...both good choices. Service was friendly and efficient, and the meals were very reasonably priced. Good selection of pies for dessert. I just don't think Quartzsite has many options for dining out. We'd go back again.

“"It's just 25 cents"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

We have eaten here several times during the month of January thru-out the previous years. The food is always good and so is the service. Upon paying our bill, we noticed an extra 25 cents added to the total. When asked what it was for, the cashier said it was for the onions. There was nothing mentioned about the onions costing more when the food was ordered and it was not on the menu anywhere. (We mentioned this to the waitress and she didn't even acknowledge that I had even said anything.) When this was being discussed at the cashier's station, the owner of the restaurant was right there, yet she said nothing. I know she had to of heard the conversation. I realize this is very petty, but it's little things like this that separate the restaurants and their customer service. I mean, really, take the quarter off the bill. There have been so many times when extra costs have been added to the bill and the waitress never informed us. Seems like not only should the waitresses, but also the owners, be trained on customer service.

“Gr8 food & value during Q's peak season”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

We stopped here after trying another place that was very disorganized and had a long wait. It was 5 pm and we got a table for two almost immediately. Happy hour wines were $3 and specials such as Salsbary steak looked good, but we both ordered liver & onlons.

A table of 4 had been seated next to us and they got their salads and food before we even had a salad, Our waitress seemed to ignore our table for 2 as she passed by to serve and talk to other tables. I assume that she was new and untrained.

However, with the aid of the busgirl, we did get the salad and dinner, which was well prepared and abundant.

I'll probably try them again The "light" over our table was priceless, and a photo is attached!
