“Impressed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2012

This Comfort Suites was a newer location up on the hill. It was nicer than what I was expecting for this level of hotel. The young lady at check-in was not real welcoming, it seemed that it was all business with no smiles. Maybe she was tired or at the end of her shift but she did not seem to be a very happy person. My only other complaint was that the wi-fi was not working during our entire stay. Even though myself and others brought the lack of internet to the attention of the staff it was never fixed. The room itself was okay sized but very nicely appointed and clean. We enjoyed the beds that were very comfortable and the flat screen tv that swiveled for viewing from anywhere in the room. The bathroom was a nice size and modern. The breakfast area was rather small and this was very noticeable during the busy mornings. Location was nice and very central to anything you might need. We enjoyed this hotel and would bet it is one of the nicest around.

This hotel was very new, so it was beautiful and clean, however it was not made well. We had terribly noisy people above us and it sounded like there was an earth quake in the room above us. After a long evening of it, I finally went to the front desk to complain and they said it was a family with 2 children and they would discreetly let them know to quiet down. It continued all night, so the next day I went to the manager and they moved us to the room right next door. That night was just as bad, I went to the desk again and they said they would call them again, and of course it continued. It almost seemed at this point to be on purpose. I have small children as well so I understand how loud they can be in a hotel, but this was just terrible. I have never stayed in a hotel this bad, I do not put all the blame on the family, I really do think that the hotel was poorly constructed, you should not hear guest above you as loud as we could. We travel often and I have never complained about a hotel, even when it may have been justified but this was a horrible experience. A few other things, the double queen suite was pretty small for a suite with only a divider wall which I new already from the pictures, the breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly.

Room Tip: Staying on the top floor would eliminate the problem.

This hotel is just wonderful. The outside appearance is sharp, the inside clean and our room was very, very nice. We couldn't have been happier with our experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Prescott area.

The hotels we typically stay at in Prescott were full, so we chose this Comfort Suites in Prescott Valley (based on other reviews). So glad we did! The hotel is new, clean, and comfortable. The King suite was a little small - very little distance between the side of the bed and the wall with air conditioner. This made it difficult to get in/out of bed on that side. However, the bed itself was very comfortable - didn't want to get up in the morning.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on top floor facing the mountains. Pretty view.

Had asked for a room with a view when I made reservations but we arrived early and that side of the hotel wasn't ready yet. The desk clerk asked if we'd mind coming back in an hour and, when we returned, he remembered us and had a great 4th floor room ready - good view of the mountains, the valley and a beautiful sunrise .
You have to run the hot water for a fer minutes to get it really hot and we were put off by the $2.25 price for the washer and again for the dryer - a bit higher than other hotels with launndry facilities. But the breakfast -6:30-9:30--was plentiful with eggs, sausage, waffles, individual boxes of cereal, fresh fruit and a variety of baked goods. The wifi in the room was very good and didn't need a password. And we enjoyed getting the Wall Street Journal for the daily paper.
The TV swiveled so It was visible from the beds or the couch, club chair and work desk in the sitting area .
My only regret is that I have no reason to return to this area but this hotel has left a lasting impression

A really nice property... We stayed several nights, and really enjoyed it! The room we stayed in was a nice size with a seperate living area. The room was nicely equipped, and the free breakfast was really nice.

Our son had an event in Mayer on 1/7, so we drove up 1/6 to stay overnight in Prescott Valley. We arrived around 8 pm. The kids were most impressed with the changing lights on the outside of the building. :) You can see the hotel from miles away if you're paying attention. It really is in a great location, overlooking the valley.

The hotel was very affordable, clean and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice. About a half hour after checking in, I needed to walk back out to our vehicle and he asked if everything was ok with our room. I thought that was very nice and customer service oriented.

We stayed in a double queen room and it was great for the 4 of us. Very clean and plenty of room.

Our son's event was very early, so we left the hotel at 5:15 am, which is before the breakfast opened up. They gave us to go bags! The to go bags had water, fruit and a granola bar in them. Perfect to eat on the way to Mayer to keep the kids happy until next meal.

Very happy we stayed there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking valley. There's a dealership on the other side.
