“wonderful stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2010

I had so much fun in prescott!! i travel a lot and ive got to say that the staff here is so helpful and really dedicated to making their guest feel at home. Thank you to paul and steph at the front desk for giving me great advise on restaurants and treating me like a friend. Also a big kudos to the ladies in housekeeping for a clean room. The rooms were a little outdated but it was comforting to know that everything was clean. only thing i would suggest is new decorations and automatic doors (however the man in the morning rick i think? was so helpful in getting the bags to my room). Had a wonderful stay and will return again!

I am just going to say a excellent staff. Now the Room.$134.50 you have to be kidding.I was in Texas. 3 weeks ago and stayed at Spring hill Suites.
That is why i picked S.Hill Suites again.Bad Idea.Room was very small Breakfast was bad and The Beds horrible. If you have ever stayed at a Marriott hotel before they have Standards as to their bedding,The Quality of the Mattress Etc... How this hotel got away with the beds in this place is beyond me... Standard mattress,no pillow top no nothing. It was like sleeping on a rock.I cannot recommend this hotel at all.I will be getting email from Marriott in the next few days , i am going to ask them to send someone to that hotel and check it out.I am sure they will not like what they see..Now Breakfast,(Texas) Scrambled Eggs Sausage Fresh rolls the works.. (Prescott) Egg muffin stuff, hard sweet rolls Etc.Just a total Disappointment. Now The Restaurant next door Bin 329..I read the reviews, and it did not sound to good but it was close and we were hungry.
Bottom line ...a Wonderful experience,Great Food.Great Waiters (Tom )
I have no idea why others did not like it But it was a 10 to us...

This hotel has a great location only two blocks from Courthouse Square. Unfortunately, the hotel trades on the location only and apparently hasn't done any updating in many years. The furnishings and decor in the rooms is tired and, in my view, ugly. Incredibly, there are still clunky old TV's in the rooms. The suites with either one king or two queen plus sitting area with sofabed are very narrow and the sitting area is just plain dark, since a wall mostly separates it from the bedroom area where there is a window. The beds face the open sink part of the bathroom, which is weird. TV may be watch either from the bedroom area or sitting area, but not both. The dining area for the free breakfast is much too crowded. The hotel was full when my family booked there and no discounts were available, i.e. AAA or Senior. We paid a about $180.00, which includes $20.00 in taxes. It is much too high high for the quality of its accommodations. I have enclosed photos of one room, including one of the incredibly wrinkled dust ruffle, which obviously was put on the bed right out of the dryer - definitely not "wrinkle free!

We booked the room the week of travel so we are not sure if what we got was the best or only thing avalible.

While booking there were two options for a group of five people we booked a 2 queen suite that came with a target gift card. Never thought to ask for the gift card at check in so we waited til we check out. The front desk manager said they ran out of cards and were keeping a list of address to send them to we will see if we get them, havent yet,

The room we booked was nice and a decent size, seperated by wall was a living area with a full size pull out couch. The view we had was of pine trees and a business lot so not that great but we were never in the room so it wasn't a bother.

The hotel is in a nice location close to the antique shops and the downtown area of whiskey row. Close enough to walk, and it is about a 10 minute drive to a nice outdoor/indoor mall.

There was a complimentry breakfast in the morning with make your own waffells sandwhiches etc. There was also an indoor pool and small excersie room. Another nice touch was the complimentry wifi throughout the hotel. I would definatley stay here again.

I beg to differ from previous comments. We booked well in advance after reading these reviews. We are also Marriott rewards members. We were staying for a week. They gave us a room on the second floor right above the entrance. Noisy traffic and room was facing the mall stores. View was terrible. A large group of youth baseball players were also staying at hotel. The running in the hallway was loud. The pool was filled with kids. The breakfast next morning was also not great because of the youth. Also we heard walking around above our room most of the night. The bed faced the closet and bathroom. To watch t.v. we had to turn the set which was a large outdated set on a low lying piece of furniture outside the bedroom area. It is not a hotel you would want to stay in more than one night. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

We wanted a location mid-way between Flagastaff & Phoenix & I selected this from the list of Marriott options (I'm a Marriott Rewards member). What an amazing find - the location while on a busy street is only blocks from downtown historic Prescott & next door to an Albertson's to grab snacks. You never need to drive your car once you have checked in - you can dine, shop and go to museums. The room felt huge after 3 nights in a Fairfield Inn room. The desk staff was young but enthusiastic. We were there on a Saturday night so the pool area was filled with families with children which kept us away, but this was not a negative. The common area was spacious and a pleasant place for breakfast or logging onto their free internet.

Have stayed here 3-4 times while my son was in Prescott College. Great location for the city with restaurants, shopping nearby. The main square is about 2 blocks away.
