“Best place to stay in Prescott”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2009

This was an excellent place to stay in Prescott. The folks are great and very friendly and helpful and made me feel at hom from my first call to make reservations until the day I checked out. The bed is very comfortable. The wireless internet is great and easy to access. The breakfast is just enough and well stocked. It is very close to downtown Prescott and from there other places are easy to reach.

My only complaints would be A. The AC's blower does not stay on all the time but shuts off when temperature is reached (on the good side-one can program the exact temperature one wants). B. There are not enough outlets for the fridge, hair dryer, and coffee maker, one or the other has to be unplugged and one has to make sure one does not unplug the fridge. C. I was charged for the safe which I never used. Although the charge is refundable I was not told this and I was not told that I could use the safe when I checked in. One needs to ask and read bill carefully (but charge was only about $1 a day).

Beyond that it is a beautiful, clean, friendly, quiet motel. I will stay there again.

We spent three nights at the Comfort Inn. The hotel is older but the room was very clean and cozy. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room as well as an in-room safe.
The breakfast was very good and made for a good start to theday. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
We will stay there again on our next visit.

We stayed here for two nights. It was nice and quiet. The King Bed room was nice and roomy. The breakfast area was pleasant. The staff was very friendly. It is in a pretty setting a short distance from downtown. I would stay here again.

I booked via internet and an on-line travel company. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. There's free internet access in the lobby but no printer; however, the front desk was agreeable to printing from their computer (we ended up not needing to do that). Our room had two comfortable and clean queen beds. There was a tv with cable a small refrigerator and a small bathroom with no fan but a small window. The sink area is outside the bathroom with enough counter space. A coffee maker and ironing board are nice features. The room and bathroom were both clean. The towels were in good condition. The location is a little off the beaten path but provided a calm, safe and quiet place to stay. The breakfast bar was free with good basic food: hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, pastries, waffles, juices, coffee, cereal, and oatmeal. If you are looking for fancy go elsewhere. If you are looking for value then this is a good fit.

This was a nice motel - the room was comfortable and clean, and had a working fridge. The sink was outside the bathroom, which helps considerably when more than one person is getting ready to go in the morning. We did not have any trouble with noise. The desk clerks were very helpful. Would stay here again.

This is very good of its type. Just a chain motel, and pretty typical, but our room was clean, comfortable and reasonably spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful (though we had no problems to test their skill). Breakfast is the usual continental, including juice, yogurt and make-your-own waffles. Coffee, tea and juice are available all day.

This pleasant motel is a couple of miles out of town, but it is a straight shot in and very easy to find. If you're looking for a quiet location, you should be happy with this.

Pluses----Clean, comfortable room. Nice touches like quality toiletries, extra pillows. Really pretty setting. Expanded continental breakfast--really was fresh and satisfying. The beverage bar is available all day.

Minuses---Wireless internet didn't work, staff unable to assist. (but they do have a guest computer in the lobby) Our fridge didn't work at first, and when it did is was NOISY)

Overall, excellent value for the $$$, and we would stay there again.
