I've tried many restaurants in the Prescott area and this is by far my favorite. Fresh well prepared food. Nice atmosphere. Good wine.
You can actually get a healthy, decent meal. I've been there several times and it's always very good. There are not many at this level of quality in Prescott. I heard "The Rose" is good also but more pricy and I haven't tried it yet.

Our second trip to this restaurant was much better than our first. trip a year ago. The service was very good; the food excellent and the ambiance was lovely. Very relaxing atmosphere with a nice jazz ensemble.

On March 17th I called 129 1/2 and left a message for a dinner reservation. Management never returned my phone call. When I called back the next day to complain about what I considered to be rude treatment, i was assured that a mistake had been made and that someone would call me to "make things right". However, I never received any follow-up call from anyone.

I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and found the food to be very good, the table service excellent, but the management and hosting staff a trifle brusque. It seems that if they don't know you or you're not part of the "in crowd" in Prescott, they would rather you dine somewhere else and not bother them. Since there are several excellent, inviting restaurants in downtown Prescott, I will not bother the management at 129 ever again.

We loved this restaurant. The atmosphere is so cozy and fun. The food was so good. The music was perfect. We had a wonderful evening. We are planning to be back ASAP!
