“Great evening with a rainbow. ”

After arriving we were seated on the patio which we had requested. 10 minutes later we were told to look in the sky to see one of the most beautiful rainbows ever. Good omen, I thought.
Our server, Rebecca, was most charming and well trained. We ordered the duck, pork chop, walleye, and spinach and chicken salad. They were perfectly complimented and the wine and Sangria were superb. We did not try the desserts, but the menu looked great. Everything was to our liking. Only downside was some cold mashed potatoes which was quickly rectified. Prices were not cheap but matched the food quality. We will go back.

“Terrible Service”

In short the service was terrible. So. Bad. The night started out good. Our server seemed a little out there- but hey, we were there to enjoy some good food, good drink and good company! We ordered an appetizer...queso...which took a while to come out but we were busy talking so it wasn't too bad. We finally got the app and we were happy. We continued to catch up and realized we had been sitting there waiting for our food for an hour! Our meal which consisted of ahi tuna, medium rare fajitas and medium rare prime rib... see the problem here? Items that really shouldn't take too long. All of us are in the hospitality industry, so we get it...things happen. We ask our server, instead of just telling us- ummm it's going to be like 20 more mintues...she says it's coming out right now and leaves the table.

The manager comes over at our request and this is where we develop the real problem....so manager, LINDA, comes over and says... and this is not an exaggeration...."Yeah, I don't know what happened or when it will be out. What do you want me to do about it?" In a really rude manner, you could tell she had no clue how to handle the situation..(Which Linda, if you are reading...that was the worst way to handle that situation....) She leaves saying, it's probably going to be another 10 minutes. As she is leaving, the food comes out... She had no idea what was going on in her kitchen at all. The server embarrassed and not empowered to deal with service recovery, buys one person at the table a glass of wine... but there were 4 people who were all waiting equal time on their food?

We have our food great.... until there is a loooonnnnngggg hair wrapped up in mashed potatoes on my friend's plate. Really? We tell the server...and she was mortified (rightfully so). She goes to tell her manager (Manager should have followed up immediately) and the manager sends the server back to the table offering to take the $5 split charge off (Linda, that had to have been a joke right?) . The server offers to make her another plate which my friend really didn't want but said she would take it to-go since she was still paying for it.

THEN...THIS IS REALLY NOT A JOKE!!!....My other friend had a hair in her Ahi Tuna... who is cooking back there? The staff of the movie Waiting??? Like get real people. The server once again was mortified. The manager was never seen again. Linda was absolutely not equipped to deal with any sort of conflict. However, she did allow the server to take off the half portion of my friend who had the hair in her mashed potatoes?

AND THEEEEN. They forgot to bring us the to-go food for my friend. We finally go it, but it was only the prime rib to-go... not the sides as well. Which had the hair in it... is this real life???

We still paid over $100.00... To the management staff... it's all about how you solve problems... My food was actually REALLY good. I probably would have written a good review and came back if you would have handled that better.

Whoever owns this restaurant should really invest in some problem-resolution training.

“Unique Mexica/Southwest Food & Superior Service & Atmosphere”

Suggested by our hotel clerk, Prescott Station is just a few blocks up the hill and East of the Hassayampa Hotel and has a nice parking lot. Atmosphere and seating are very comfortable, and the food is exceptional. Service by Alex Rames couldn't have been more caring. Their Tortilla Soup was an outstanding, broth-style starter that we shared. Then came the phenomenal Chile Relleno...a baked poblano relleno chile served open-faced and stuffed with green chile pork and cheeses, topped with a red chile sauce, jalapeno cream sauce, pico de gallo, and accompanied by a green chile fideo. They have very diverse lunch and dinner menus and even serve a Sunday brunch. One of Prescott's treasures.

“Good food and Very Expensive”

The quality of the food has improved in the last two years; however, the prices are very expensive. I didn't care for the masa under the Southwestern Benedict but my wife did like the crab cakes.

“Southwestern cuisine”

The soups, rellenos, crepes and enchiladas are excellent. Try them all. This is the future of upscale American Mexican food. Service is very good and prices are reasonable.
