I've been biking recreationally and for exercise for years and just moved to the area. The Peavine and Iron King trails (out to Prescott Valley) are excellent locations to ride a smoothly maintained and moderate grade "old railroad track bed" type trail and the scenery is outstanding. The trail can get a bit muddy but it is canted so water does run off. The grades are no more difficult than what an early locomotive could pull and their are rest stops along the some 16+ round trip miles. I've been riding it all of late 2012 and it is my go to trail. Enjoy.
