Nice and clean place near, stores, and places to rent ski equiptment and purchase ski tickets. Putting green obstacle course in front of hotel. Refer and micro in room along with coffee maker. Friendly service. 30 minutes from Sunrise Ski Resort. Walking distance to woodland lake, great place to walk around lake. Great place to stay for the price.

I got started a little late for a NYE hotel in the Pinetop-Lakeside area, and was finding the mountain pretty well booked up. Because I wanted to stay within walking distance of a bar as to avoid any run-ins with the law, we only had a few options to choose from. Having stayed at the super 8 on a previous occasion (what a freakin dump that is) I knew I didn't want to stay there. There is Mountain Haven Inn (awesome - see other review) but they were requiring a 2 night minimum. there were a few other locations that I have never been to, but I settled on The Executive. It is a pretty nice place considering what my assumptions were.

The beds were ok, but the room was clean. Decorated in a woodsy style, and rooms are decent sized. For $60 this is place is alright. If we can't get Mountain Haven Inn next time, we'll stay here again.

We went with friends for a getaway to the snow and couldn't have found a better or more reasonably priced place. Our king room was large, clean and looks like it was recently updated. It is close to everything and about a 1/2 an hour from the Sunrise Ski Resort. I didn't get a chance to see the breakfast but it got rave reviews from my husband and friends. We were also impressed with the friendly front desk people. All in all it was a great experience!
