I got my money back from Priceline after staying here, well mostly I slept in the car. Luckily it was one night only. The staff were rude and lazy, they said nothing was wrong with my room, the place was disgusting, see pics. Semen, blood, feces, burns on carpet, toilet, bathtub - and the stench was so awful... it was like death. Everywhere was filthy - look inside the coffee machine and you see so much dirt. So much for complimentary coffee! The room next door was trashed, I knew something was up as when I drove up there was a toilet plunger outside the door. Their in room ads have all these nice business people lying on the bed... I was frightened I would get eaten by bugs.
Priceline contacted the hotel and the so called manager told them the place had just passed their annual cleanliness inspection. When they phoned and told me this, we both laughed and laughed - imagine the ones that fail!! Their head office agreed to refund the payment and reassess what had gone wrong here - I suggested they fire their staff and start all over.
I now know what being homeless in Phoenix is like, I had no room for the night. Priceline and ESA received these same pics.
Amazing places like this still exist.

First of all the price was right ($45/night). TV was oddly positioned off the kitchen, but was OK and a small suite type of room was clean overall. Heated pool was a nice perk as well as the complimentary airport shuttle. Doubt I'd pay the full price, but it was a good experience with no complaints!

“Decent place, clean no-frills”

I am at the hotel now, in the middle of a two week stay for business. The most important things to me are cleanliness, security and a decent bed. The room is generally clean, but not perfectly clean...ie dust between the slats of a wooden desk chair, the door handle on the refrig shows a bit of dirt.

But the carpet is relatively new and clean, the sheets are crisp and white, the bed is comfortable. The full kitchenette is handy, there is plenty of hot water in the shower and there have been none of the plumbling problems a previous reviewer experienced.

The hotel has interior doors and the front door locks at 11 pm, you need your key to enter after that. This is preferrable to having exterior doors IMHO.

Over all, it's not fancy, but it's decent and priced right.

The Bad:
*No water pressure in the shower.
*No hot water
*Non-working lights (Even after I changed the bulb).
*Heater did not work. (Smoke alarm went off after i turned on the heater in the middle of the night).
*Toilet overflowed (Thought maybe this was my fault until i noticed a plunger sitting outside the doors of several other rooms).
The Good:
*Got the room for $44/night through priceline.
