There never fails to be a time when i show up for the hotel and David Richardson hasn't already seen my reservation and made my stay the excellent experience that i have come accustom to in Phoenix. I cant wait to tell many of my travelers in business what a great hotel from the front desk to the lady in the gift shop that gets me my pecan sticky buns every morning ...this is first class service at its finest thanks Hilton!!!

We booked here because they have "kitchenettes " but that only means a microwave and fridge. The rooms are spacious andclean if a little worn out. Also they allow dogs in the mini pools on the property which was a big turn off for my family...especially since my son is allergic.

This trip started well and ended even better! I traveled with my girlfriend and we were never bored at the resort! The pool is awesome, the hot tub was perfece, and the lazy river was really fun! As it was almost the end of February and still a lilttle chilly, the water war heated and the staff was really personable to EVERYONE! If you have a chance and the means to do so, I recommend reserving of the the two story casitas...you"ll be glad you did! Furthermore, I forgot his name, but he is the Chief Concierge and what a great fit for someone in the hospitality industry! I will definately be back!

Thank you for the thoughtful comments! One of the fantastic advantages of Phoenix is our winter season - average temperature is 69 with an 85% chance of... sunshine! I'm glad to know you were able to enjoy our water features. We look forward to welcoming you back!

I was lucky enough to stay in a "casita" at Squaw Peak and I would recommend it to everyone. The location was convenient to Phoenix and Scottsdale. The grounds were beautiful, the hotel staff was very gracious. Rooms were bright and clean. Most importantly (to me) the hotel is pet friendly. Wish I could have spent more time exploring everything the hotel offers.

Pros: Great location. Good restaurants nearby. Beautiful scenery. Comfortable rooms. Lots of hiking/biking close by.

Cons: Unable to print boarding passes in lobby--machine was "temporarily unavailable for 2 days." The water slide was not open for the 2 days that we were there. (I did not follow up to find out why...my kids just couldn't use it.) The River Ranch closes at 5:00...which includes the basketball courts. The "South" doesn't have a jacuzzi (North does, as does the River Ranch...both locations were very occupied.)

Thank you for the feedback and your fairness in reviewing our resort. The inconveniences you experienced, and the closure and repairs of those items mentioned is unfortunate. The spa located in South Pointe and the River Ranch Water Slide have been repaired since your visit and are fully operational. We hope you'll consider returning to our resort in the future!

We visited Phoenix with our two young children, and stayed at this property for the first time. Everything about it was great for kids - from the roomy accomodations to the fantastic waterpark to the state-of-the-art fitness center to the kid-friendly dining choices. However there was one thing that really made our stay exceptional: the head concierge David Richardson. I travel for business and have stayed in over 150 Hilton properties and dozens of other 5-Star Hotels around the world. I have never come across a person that could single-handedly help to make a stay so perfect. His "can-do" approach to his genuine concern that your stay is exceptional will make you want to extend your reservation. I have never written a tripadvisor review before, and I was compelled to due to the OUTSTANDING service from a very special concierge.
