“A downtown must!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

I have eaten here many times and it never disappoints! I usually split a pizza with someone and then split a nutella and strawberry crepe as well. The crepes are AMAZING! You can sit indoors or outdoors on the extremely large patio area. The patio area is just like being in someones amazingly landscaped backyard. I cannot say enough good about it. It's perfect for dates or going with friends. I wouldn't really recommend it with smaller kids because the wait can be lengthy after 6:00.

“Disappointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

I'm visiting Phoenix and my sister took us to Cibo. The ambiance was nice but the food was disappointing. The menu is limited mostly to pseudo pizza that is heavy and greasy. The menu items had Italian sounding names, but the pizza wasn't Italian or appetizing.

“great pizza place in downtown Phoenix”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

this pizza place is the best pizza place in downtown Phoenix bar none! It is in an old house that has been turned into a restaurant. The inside of the house is very cool, but my favorite place to sit is outside in the front yard. The fall and spring are the best times to sit outside in Phoenix. However I seem to see people using the front yard even through the summer.

The ambience is great, but the food is great as well. I don't think you can really go wrong. It is obvious that the people who run this place take pride in their food quality.

I think there is a much more well known place inherited square called pizza Bianco. Well this restaurant blows the doors off of that place. Cibo gives a much better value for the money.the food here is actually tasty and impressive. Believe it or not, the prices here are not as high as Pizza Bianco. Everything about this place is better.

Every time I go to Cibo I walk away happy. You cannot go wrong by spending an evening in this restaurant.

“Great location and wonderful food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Located in a historic home (although the weather was great and we sat outside) on the edge of the Phoenix central business district (about 10 block walk from our hotel). Our group of 3 ordered two salads and 2 pizzas and it was more than enough. Server was very attentive without being intrusive. Quality of food was excellent! Only negative was that they state on their menu that they will not split checks. A bit of a hassle for business travelers working off a per diem and hard to understand as I have found the server's usually end up with a greater cummulative tip amount than under a single bill. But the food and service made that issue minimal. Highly recommended.
