My newly wed husband and I had an outstanding experiance at the Travelers Inn in Phoenix Arizona. We were amazed by the courtious workers that went out of their way to make us feel as comfterable as possible. The Travelers Inn was well kept and clean. The pool was sparkling clean and the continental breakfast was to die for. I would recommend Travelers Inn to anyone who goes to visit the valley of the sun.

When my husband and I arrived, we were dismayed to see the entire property was being repaved. All the parking was blocked off around the building except one small side lot. This meant you had to hike in all of your luggage. Since my husband is handicapped, we knew this might be a problem, but we ventured forth....

The desk clerk, an elderly woman, was THE rudest and most irritable person I believe I have ever encountered in my entire life. The sad thing is, it seemed like a fairly nice place and the price was right. Sooo, if you just want to save $$$ and don't care about such things as customer service and courtesy and consideration, this is the place for you. (My husband and I decided to go elsewhere.)
We were very disappointed and unhappy with our experience at this establishment. I do hope they can get someone more consumer oriented to man the reception desk in the future.
