Had to stay due to a cancelled flight. The room is a hike outside from the main lobby. The spread had a huge ugly stain, toothpaste smears still on the counter, hair on bathroom floor, dust on the coffee maker, unpleasant odor and very noisy ac. Couldn't wait to check out of this one!

The Clarion is fantastic! We got bumped off our flight and the airline put us up here. It is a beautiful little place with a nice pool, weight room, complimentary breakfast and complimentary evening snacks. The lobby area has a fireplace, bar, and comfortable chairs. The room itself has a refrigerator,microwave, 2 coffee makers, hairdryer, etc. They offer free shuttles to and from the airport 24 hours a day. (In the morning, they leave every hour on the hour to the airport.) I don't know what the price is, but this is a lovely hotel.

We took a gamble with Hotwire and wound up with the Clarion for one night. Upon driving up to the hotel we were a little doubtful but were pleasantly surpsrised. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, the shower amazing all with a very clean grounds. We were also surprised by their complimentary happy hour where they served wine and beer and their complimentary HOT breakfast. Very well organized and thoughtful staff. The hotel was also very conveniently located to area attractions. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Oh. My. God. I have never stayed anywhere, where TWICE in one night, other guests tried to come into our room. They weren't breaking and entering... the first was an honest family, given a set of keys for OUR room, when we were already checked in. The second time, I don't know who it was--but they had keys. Both times, it was 2am and then 6am in the morning. Then the overly eager housekeeping service walked in at 8am without knocking.

It was so bad, it was funny.

The room itself was clean, they have a fridge to keep food items, and they have a free wine/beer hour with a small buffet and free booze. Free is awesome as long as you are not picky about quality.

At the end and beginning of the stay, Mike or Mark or whomever the night manager is, was completely rude, unapologetic and blamed all of our problems on other people, specifically, his employees. My opinion regarding that is poor employee performance reflects poor training and management. Which had nothing to do with us, yet he took it out on us. And his attitude was rude. If he would have had a better attitude or at least been polite about it all, we would have easily been easy going about it.

I typically have reasonable expectations for the hotel industry. But this experience just set a new record for rudeness. I encourage a response from this specific hotel, simply because I am astonished that our experience even happened. I'd be amused to hear what explanation they have, provided it's at least a little different from the one we heard at the hotel, which was "it's all my employee's fault."
