I have been here with my husband, on multiple occasions. Tonight was probably the last night i will be eating here. We entered the restaurant and were seated immediately as usual with a nice smile. We were then asked what we would like to drink and thank goodness i asked for a lemon water. Waitress came back with our drinks and we ordered our usual chicken and shrimp chow mein. When the waitress arrived no more than 5 minutes later with our food, SHE SPILLED MY ENTIRE GLASS OF ICED LEMON WATER all over me, my sneakers, and my sweater, my jeans. The manager or owner then came over and helped clean it up, apologizing over and over. I said "no big deal at least i didn't order soda or something". I then remained cool, calm and collective the remainder of the dinner. We then received the check and with absolutely no class they charged us for the ENTIRE BILL no discount for the spilled drink all over me. My husband was very surprised, being that we come from NY and I know out of the RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS when something like this happens the least they can do is either comp 1 of the meals 50% or the entire bill. I am a Business Woman and I know mistakes happen, but the common courtesy would be a comp. My husband proceeded to pay the bill with his card, and AFTER the fact the bill was paid, the manager came over and asked if i was ok again, I couldn't bite my tongue any longer and decided to politely say "Everything is fine, but i do have to say that i am very disappointed in the service and the fact that as a courtesy you did not offer to give at least 50% off my dinner, or maybe a coupon for next time." Well she apologized and went ahead and comped my meal. I SHOULD NOT have to mention something like this. It's crazy. We most likely will not be going back here. Time to find another chinese restaurant..... :( just a lack of professionalism and pure greed is why we will not be returning.
