“Yummy chocolates, rude service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

We found The Baker's Daugher on another website and it had gotten very good reviews for the chocolates. We were on our way to dinner before a ballgame and decided to have dessert first as TBD would be closed before the game ended. Upon arrival (~ 4:30 pm) the shop looked closed even though they were supposed to be open until 6 pm. The owner of TBD is related to the owner of the Bakery next door so we decided to inquire there. The girl in the shop said that we could get chocolates, but no coffee. Ok, no problem, but how do we get in there? Is someone available to help us? Oh! Of course, that would be her, not that she offered. The selection was not great (I assume because of the time of day?), and the counter girl stood and glowered at us the whole time. Really, really uncomfortable. Didn't offer suggestions or recommendations, just stared. As soon as we paid for the chocolates, she left without a word. Although the chocolates were delish, the experience left a lot to be desired and I don't really think it was worth the trek ...
