If you are in Phoenix, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this superb restaurant!
This is a quaint restaurant with only about 9 tables in the main dining area. Many promise and few restaurants deliver a great meal. This restaurant delivers with a style and grace missing from far too many restaurants nowadays.
Food is simply spectacular. I had the Roquefort Salad, listed as "Our divine combination of organic greens, roasted apples, warm toasted hazelnuts, dried figs and Premier Cru Roquefort." A great combination of temperature, texture and flavor. I can easily see why this is their signature salad.
For entree I had the Lamb Shank, listed as "100% natural grass fed Australian lamb coated in warm spices and served Moroccan style atop couscous with a harissa spiced vegetable ragout studded with dried fruits." Good portion size and a scintillating combination of flavors. I can see again why this is their house specialty!
Dessert was a delicate shortbread base, topped with a raspberry and chocolate layer. Simple, fresh and very flavorful.
Service is prompt and attentive, without being overly anxious.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this delightful restaurant, where dining and relaxing is a welcome focus for the service team there.
Car pool if you are going there with a group of people, as parking is limited.
Due to the limited number of tables, I would suggest that you call ahead for seating, to make sure you will get a table.
This restaurant is also a BYOB restaurant. Current prices are $9 per 750ml bottle.
