This little restaurant is a gem within Phoenix. The food is good, not the best you have ever had, but definitely worth the price. You can't leave without trying the Brie with carmalized apples! Very yummy. I didn't care for the brulee which was served cold and had very little crust on top, but the chocolate cheese cake was superb.
We liked the BYOB aspect since we collect wines at home.
We were seated in the back room which was perfect until the table of 4 was seated next to us. They should take out the table for four and just make it all tables for two because it gets too noisy, especially in a little room and after the party has a glass of wine or two. Next time I will just eat in the main dining room.
I also think they should dim the lights at night to give it more ambience. Again there was more ambience in the main dining room. It was just too bright in the back room.
I had the lobster which was pretty good, a little overcooked in my opinion.
My husband had the filet mignon which he says was excellent.
The service was superb and our waitstaff attentive.
I would go back again for a romantic dinner, but will request the main dining room next time.
