“Outstanding dinner and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

Wright's is located in the lovely Arizona Biltmore hotel. The ambience is sophisticated and subdued, but very comfortable and inviting. Their menu features “old school” entrees (but with fresh interpretations) and every bite was excellent. This is definitely a pricey restaurant, but well worth it, especially when celebrating a special occasion or in the mood for a splurge. They cook everything fresh, so if you don't like an ingredient that's listed just let the server know, they'll cook your meal the way you want it. It’s a tradition that when Wright’s presents you the bill they also give you a plate of home-spun cotton candy “because no one wants to just get a bill!” You gotta like that philosophy!

“The Ambience Alone is Worth It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

We have had dinner here in the past and reviewed the restaurant, but going back after an absence reminded us of how much charm The Biltmore Resort has and how their premier restaurant adds to the relaxed elegance.

As before, the staff expertly maintains the boundaries between professional fine dining service and warm, friendly engagement. And the food satisfies the eyes as well as it does the palate as the items are artfully presented. Our favorites of the evening were the lobster bisque and lobster entree. We had planned on a Maine vacation this summer until a major unexpected home repair forced us to cancel those plans, so double dipping the fresh Maine lobster was our compensation. The surprise of the evening were the desserts. The names suggested nostalgic comfort - Boston Cream Pie and Peanut Butter/Almond Duet - but the presentation and taste was unlike anything your grandmother could have served. The familiarity of the ingredients and the novelty of the presentation added a touch of humor and casualness that is the hallmark of this wonderful place.

If you want to splurge, this is it.

“Very Special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

This was one outstanding meal. Although most of the selections on the menu were relatively standard for a high quality restaurant, we found the presentation and taste to be unique and exceptional. Oysters on the half shell is a must. Beef Wellington was outstanding. The Turbot was one of the best fish dishes I have ever experienced. I am sorry I was only there one night. The facility is nothing exceptional and needs to be updated but the food was worth it and the staff was on top of their game.

The food was excellent along with the presentation. The chef is stellar!! I especially thought the cotton candy at the end was delish and fun!! It sparked some fun conversation.

“Anniversary dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

I took my wife here for our anniversary. We got a secluded table and ordered my new favorite wine. A bottle of Cakebread Chardonnay. The waiter was outstanding and outgoing. He was thoughtful of our night and didn't overdue the times coming back. We ended up staying at the Biltmore that night and it was OUTSTANDING. Pricy, but worth every penny. If you want to impress, take your wife or girlfriend here.
