“True delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013 via mobile

Recently stayed at the Legacy Resort nearby The Farm. We ate here three times and everything was delicious .Took take away for our flight home. Loved the entire concept, different venues, outdoor eating. Lovely shop also on the grounds. The desserts were all amazing! Be sure not to miss. Easy drive to or from the airport .

“The Farm at South Mountain - better than ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

It had been years since I ate at The Farm as I live far away. But when I took my extended family there recently, I was delightfully surprised to see it has only improved with age! In addition to the Farm Kitchen, where you can get wonderful sandwiches with locally grown (some on-site) veges and fresh meats and produce. They offer a wide choice of items, from vege based, to pulled pork. The salads are light and delicious. All seating is outside and casual - there is nothing like having lunch picnic style under the pecan trees! Bring the kids, they will love running around!

Next time, I'll try the Morning Glory Cafe, on the other side of the pecan orchard! They also have fine dining (Quiessence) and host picnic parties, weddings and events. A lovely place!

“Hidden treasure.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

I stopped here for lunch with a friend on a recent trip to Phoenix. I had t been to this restaurant in 10 years. It was as wonderful as I remember. Outdoor seating among pecan groves. Farm to table cooking and fresh ingredients. I love the groves where families can linger and kids can run and play. The atmosphere speaks for itself and needs no assistance to impress! Add it to the must do list!

“Greenery in the midst of the desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

This is like an oasis in the desert. There are trees and flowers to enjoy. There is more than one restaurant, but we went to Morning Glory for breakfast. Since it is outdoors, in March we saw that most of the tables had at least some shade, and since it was cool, even the sun felt good. The ingredients used are either grown there or nearby. So everything was fresh and delicious. I had the breakfast burrito and was very impressed with all the flavors. My husband had an omelet and loved it. I visit Phoenix annually, and will surely go back to the Farm again next year!
