There are hundreds of mexican and New Mexican restaurants in the southwest. This kitchy old Tom MIX hacienda decorated in funky junky will give you a treat. We go about every 2 months to get a FIX of the incendiery creations. Tablemates literally break out in perspiration at each mouthfull of just delicious new mexican dishes which are quite inexpensive and then just mop their brow and dig in to the next forkful..No reservations so go early..Its worth the trip-for us a 2 hour round trip drive but it puts spce in your life.

We ate a lot of Mexican food during our AZ trip, but a friend who works nearby took us at Los Dos Molinos, and we were floored. They bring you a giant pitcher of water, which is a kind of warning of the things to come - HOT-HOT-HOT

The decor is wacky, and the margueritas are dangerous (one pitcher got 3 people loopy at lunch).

It's a little out of the way (take Baseline to Central and head South) but well worth the trip.
